This park felt very crowded as the sites were very close together. Mostly just OK for our needs, but substandard in regard to the dog yard which was just too small for the amount of use it received. It was next door to a golf course which looked good. We didn't have time to try it.
Very handy location just off I-5 where there are not many options. More of an RV resort, it would be over priced were it not for its half price policy for mid-week stays. Plus it has items not usually found, included access to wine tasting events close by, the velvet grill diner, and the huge dog run, big enough to throw frisbee for your friend. A good find for us.
The setting was nice for dropping down to the Fort Bragg area. We spent little time at our site, but it was large and had the basics. The man who checked us in was very helpful. We used camp club so the price was good. Fine stopping place to explore the redwoods area, Fort Bragg and Mendocino.
