This is an older KOA that is a little tired but aging well. The campground staff was very helpful and friendly. The sites have concrete runners for the trailer with the remainder in grass. No cable TV but this is not a huge issue for short stay as there is excellent TV reception from both Detroit and Toledo. The WiFi worked very well and had good reception from our site. This is a good park for an overnight stay and a side trip to Cabelas in nearby Dundee is a must for any outdoors enthusiast.
This is an older state park that has been updated somewhat to accommodate newer rigs. We had a pull through site and our 34' travel trailer barely fit. The motorhomes that were in the park completely filled the sites. The sites are paved with a small gravel patio area by each one. The sites are so close together that we had to situate our trailer so that the slider did not cover part of the adjacent site's patio area. Since the park is down in a "holler", you can expect to have no cellphone or television reception. Satellite TV will work fine as several units had dishes out. The sites have power and water but no sewer so plan accordingly. This park is fine for a short stay as long as you accept the limitations mentioned above. The Natural Bridge area is very pretty and there a several hiking trails available to the more energetic. We would camp here again.
This is a well maintained, well groomed campground that is run by two of the nicest owners you would ever care to meet. The sites and roads are gravel, not paved with a nice, grassy area with a picnic table. The owners have worked very hard over the past year or so to update the park and it shows. The only issue that we had was with the cable TV (Bad cable that was replaced in the campstore after some help troubleshooting the issue with the owner). The WiFi also went down later that evening and was not back up by the time we left the next day. An excellent park to overnight in or to stay a few days for the local sights such as the Neil Armstrong museum and the nearby Airstream factory tour.
