Loved this campground! The grounds are beautiful, and it is on the shores of a fishing lake (we're not into fishing, but we enjoyed the scenery). The owner was very helpful and friendly. This park is generally a "stop-over" point when traveling, but we would definitely enjoy a stay of several days here. The road leading into the park was in need of repair, as it was very bumpy (only about a quarter of a mile or so, but it gets your attention). A definite must-see park if you are in need of a resting spot when travelling.
We have stayed in several RV parks in New Mexico along interstate highways 10 and 40, and this is by far the nicest one we have found. It is family owned and operated, and they keep it in excellent shape. The free wi-fi worked fantastic, even at night when the park had filled up (our experience has been that wi-fi nearly stops working at night due to all of the usage by park customers). Some shade trees would be nice, but the weather was pleasant so we didn't need them. We would definitely recommend this RV stop to travelers.
We loved this park! It was not crowded when we stayed, and the pull-through site that we had was easy in/easy out. Our site was among pine trees and was beautiful. The only facility we used was the laundry room. The owners are very friendly and keep the place in great shape. We have no problem in recommending this park if you are going to stay during a non-busy time.
