Clean, well maintained campground with friendly, helpful staff. Really enjoyed the Ah-Tah-Thi-Ki Museum nearby--you could bike or walk there from the RV park. Guided tour was fantastic. Also did the board walk through the Everglades there. Good local place to eat is Sweet Tooth. We liked their BBQ and cupcake. Also enjoyed the Billie Swamp Safari. Especially liked the swamp buggy ride. They also have air boat rides. The whole community is clean and well maintained. Lots of good bird watching too.
About 3 miles from Legoland and near Bok Tower Gardens. Lots of "permanent" snowbird sites. Clean and nice grounds with oak shade trees. We have 35' RV with car trailer so needed a pull-through which we got, but check your exit. Turns are tight. We would definitely stay here again.
Nice, full facility park. A few miles off I-10. By a lake for fishing. Has a pool and exercise room. Some permanent residents so it's a community with daily activities. Even has a chapel. We were able to get a nice pull through spot for an overnight stopover.
Easy access from the highway but that also made the site a little noisy with traffic passing by. OK for an overnight although we saw what looked like longer term campers too. Staff were efficient and nice. Camp was well maintained.
Liked the convenient location, about 15 minutes from Mt Rushmore; pretty location by creek with biking/walking trail. Not so good: the check in was long and we weren't served in the order we arrived. I had called for a reservation and requested a pull through site, which wasn't correct when we got here. they somehow created duplicate charges and incorrect charges with that. Still waiting to see if it's all corrected on the credit card. So watch for that. Also, the internet connection wasn't good and they had Picaso blocked.
Expensive for the services but convenient to Yellowstone Park west entrance. We have 35 foot RV with a trailer, so like the pull through sites. Because of late winter and extra snow this season, there were plenty of spaces. Lots of shops and restaurants in town. All staff were helpful and friendly. They also have complimentary coffee.
Nice paved roads and lots of pull through sites. All with a great view of the lake. All sites have covered picnic tables. We were just there for an overnight on our way north. Walked to the lake for fishing. Good bird watching too.
Beautiful view of the canyons from our campsite. Check in staff were wonderful and helped us find a pull through site that would accommodate our 35ft RV with trailer. Short drive to Bryce Canyon National Park and other State Parks in the area. On Scenic Byway 12 which has spectacular and unique landscapes.
We have a 35ft RV with trailer for car. Pull through sites were easy access. Has a fantastic view of the lake. Staff were wonderful and helpful. It's 15 minutes from Hoover Dam and 45 minutes from downtown Vegas.
Older, family owned park. Appears to have a lot of long term residents. Quiet.. Suburbs have grown up all around but still secluded and surrounded by trees. Convenient to I-10 and US 90. About 20 miles from downtown. We did an all day San Antonio bus tour with Alamo Tours which we really liked. They picked us up at the RV park.
Had a nice pull through site. On a river which my husband enjoyed for fishing. Scenic bayou with nice woods and trails for walking and biking and bird watching. Saw several deer too.. Near town so must get a lot of day visitors. Sadly saw a lot of empty bottles and cans in the inner ponds.
Easy access from I-10, just a few blocks, but quiet, didn't hear highway noise. Free Wi-Fi. Clean & spacious restrooms and laundry. Quiet campground with plenty of pull throughs perfect for our 35' RV with a trailer. Large beautiful oak trees. Pull throughs don't have shade but didn't matter for time of year and overnight.
