The sites are level and spacious. The pool is the cleanest I have seen. The hosts are friendly but could be more cheerful. We have been here a total of 4 times and will return. The cable has only 24 channels and I missed Fox News.
The sites were sort of level. Took some work. Host could have had on a happy face but chose not to. The Wi-Fi was very very poor. Couldn't get anywhere on the net. Like all KOA's you didn't get your money's worth. KOA's are typically $10-$15 higher than comparable places.
Level sites. Good big rig access. Low water pressure. 1/2 inch pipe. Young gal at the desk was friendly. The lady who is the owner is a grouch. Very bad attitude. Very controlling. Makes you sign a paper that states you have read the rules. Junky at one end of the park.
The gentleman at check-in was very friendly. The sites were a level concrete pad. Good space between sites. Great for big rig navigation. We would stay here again. Great price!! The Pioneer auto show museum is very close by and worth checking out. They have about 250 cars and misc. other artifacts.
We were greeted to the park by a doe and 2 fawns and several wild turkeys. The sites are wide and spacious and: level. Nice hiking trail. The folks in the office were very friendly. The town of Buffalo has a jam session every Thursday at the historic Occidental Hotel which is a must see. We would definitely stay here again. And the price for what you get? Outstanding!!!
Not bad for the money. Gravel roads and sites. The sites were level and more spacious than most. If you want cable there is an additional charge. It is near the interstate but the noise was not offensive. It was easy to navigate with a big rig. We would probably stay here again.
The clerk was friendly at check-in. Pretty good Wi-Fi was available. The sprinklers were on, which gave our motorhome a bath and us too at times. The place is a bit hard to navigate with a big rig in some areas. We couldn't put the awning out due to a tree being in the way. The sites are pretty close together. You pay a lot for what you get. Waking up to a train whistle that sounded like it was in the park was not a good thing. This happened about 4 times during the night. We stayed one night and will not be going back.
The setting is nice. The attendants are friendly. A nice clean park. The sites are narrow. Most sites are not level making it hard to level a big rig. They offer no discounts of any kind. We stayed 11 days with no discount. Wi-Fi is marginal and you only get one hour per day without paying extra. There is not a big choice of parks in the area so they sock it you you. They are mostly filled to the brim in the summer. They are raking in the cash and could afford to give the RV'rs a break.
Friendly quick check-in. The site was not level. I had to use boards under the duals. The water and sewer were at the rear which was the highest part of the site. I had to use the front of the site which required an extension of the water and sewer line to be used. We had a good view of San Quentin prison and was close to the ferry to SF.
This is our 3rd time at this park. The staff is friendly and guide you to your site. Our site was level and the power, water, sewer, cable and Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. The sites are gravel but sufficient. Plenty of room to navigate a big rig.
This park is located in a wooded area. It may be great for shade in the summer, but when it is wet, it is not so great. The needles from the fir trees stick to everything. It is impossible to keep them out of the coach. The pad for the sites are narrow and the sides of the pad are muddy from the rain. The sites are not level, requiring wood planks under the tires. The employees are friendly and courteous. We will not stay here again.
Attendant was not available for check-in but left a list of available sites. I tried to find one that was fairly level but to no avail. I had to put 2 2x12x12 under each rear set of duals to level the coach. Branches scratched the coach on top and on the sides on the way to the site. The pool was open but it was a murky green color. The playground was nice for those with children if you overlook the pea gravel base. We stayed here two nights and love the Shasta area. We would not stay here again.
