Excellent campground. Wide, long spaces for 41' MH and toad. Grass between the spaces. What a find. Will stay again. Was here over the Fourth. Staff had a BBQ. Brats and hot dogs with all the fixins. Pot luck so all that attended brought a dish. Delicious. Stayed 5 days.
Relatively easy off and on Hwy 50 . Right on Arkansas River Sites are tight side by side, plenty long but tight for my 41' MH. Clean, staff friendly, helps us get into our sight. Little cafe just up the street, walking distance. Nothing else for 15 miles. Will stay again when the area.
Sites were very un level. Jacks were on 2" blocks and Still couldn't get level Front wheels were off the ground. Very tight getting in. Tried 2 sites and could not get level. We got our money back and left. People were not very helpful. We have a 41' motor home and toad.
This park was a pleasant surprise, as it wasn't listed in Woodalls or Trailer life. We went on line and looked for RV Parks around Des Moines, Iowa. We stopped here over night on our way to NE, Iowa. Will be back here again on our next trip. Park is well planned out, with roomy sites, level and long. Even with the drought there is plenty of green grass for our dog to romp in.
We passed this campground on the way to Chanute, Kansas. On the way by, we said, "Looks like a beautifully park!" After we finished our business, we went back to check it out. We were not disappointed . The park is well laid out and maintained. (My satellite worked.) Good view of the lake/pond. Kudos to the staff and the CORP!
Nice level, grassy site. Plenty of room. Good area to walk the dog. Very shady, but so many trees that there was no satellite reception. Camp was not well marked on roads leading in. Will stay here again.
Very clean, well-managed park. Liked the layout and the sites were roomy and level. Very pet friendly. Staff was courteous and helpful. Laundry facilities were among the best we have seen. We stayed here for three weeks and definitely plan a return trip next summer.
