We stayed 1 night and the park is fairly easy to get to off the Turnpike. As you enter the park there is a nice lake on the left and we had a large pull through site full hookup and everything worked fine. The bathrooms were old and not clean and the roads were dusty and could use some gravel. Overall a decent park for an overnight stay.
We were unable to get a site with 50 Amp and sewer and had to take a back in. It seems like most campers here are seasonal. It is in a nice location on the River and very scenic but was noisy at night with music from campers. Cell phone service was patchy. Our site was level and electric and water worked fine.
This park is a gem. Located 1 mile from Interstate 88 in a nice wooded setting. A scenic creek snakes around the campground and a large mountain provides a magnificent view. The owner was friendly and escorted us to our site. The owner bakes and sells homemade pizza and we ordered one and it was delicious. The site was a large level Pull-Thru. The bathhouse is a little old but clean and we had a warm shower. Cell Phone and Internet worked good. We stayed a few days and enjoyed Oneonta and nearby Cooperstown. We would camp here next time we are in the area.
The Pull-Thru was a little tight with some low branches but we got in OK. The park is very scenic but very remote. No cell phone service and no internet or cable TV. The park is clean and the owners are friendly. We would probably not stay here again as it is not near anything.
This park is Fantastic. We had a site right on the river surrounded by large shade trees. The owner was very friendly and came by our site to make sure everything was OK. We extended our stay to 2 nights to enjoy this lovely Campground. For the price this park is a fantastic Bargain. We will stay here again.
We camped for 2 nights and had a pull through site. It was tight pulling in between the trees and not level. We asked for a better site but were told there was nothing wrong with the site we had by the owner. Since we had to visit friends in Erie we decided to stay anyway. The water and electric on the site worked good but the sewer backed up so we decided just to dump later since our tanks were not full. We would not stay here again.
