It's such a shame that this is the only RV park option in this beautiful area because it is not good. It has the potential of being a nice park; however, the tent camping area is completely covered in trash and ruins the overall feel of the park. It also make it feel like you are in a very unsafe area with homeless types hanging around. It really is too bad because it is located on a river and very conveniently located to the adorable town of Healdsburg and several very good wineries.
Very nice and quiet park - except for the train, but it's better than the highway noise. Again, not sure how we end up at parks that say 55+ when we aren't, but they let us in probably because we don't have kids. Older park, but very well maintained and clean even though the roads are dirt rather than paved. Convenient location and we will gladly stay here again.
Another one of our favorite places to stay. We got lucky because we didn't have a reservation and we know this park is always busy but we took a chance and the awesome staff got us in. After traveling for the past 2 1/2 weeks with our young niece & nephew it was so nice to go to a quiet adult park. No, you don't have to be over 55 to stay here because we sure aren't there yet but you do have to be at least 21 years old. The pool is amazing and we had it to ourselves most of the time, the off lease dog park is also a great plus. This park is so well maintained and we always love coming back. Wi-Fi worked great for us but again we don't stream movies, just check our email and had no problems.
We like this park the best in Durango. The awesome staff accidentally forgot to read the note that we were traveling with our friends and accidentally put us in sites that were far apart, but they worked hard and were able to put us next to each other. Love the sites, love the dog park, love the location. Wi-Fi worked like Wi-Fi is supposed to work; not for streaming movies but great for checking email - that's all it should be used for. We will be back.
Very cute park and the owners/managers have done an outstanding job making it look like an old west town. Very nice staff and park is very well shaded. We only were able to stay one night, but we would come here again.
Nice park, but it is located adjacent to a public park which is full of people on weekends and holidays. Direct river access from the park, but again you are sharing that particular river area with the public on the weekends only, weekdays there are only a few people on the river. This park is perfectly located to sites, stores & restaurants. There are two ways to get in & GPS may try to take you across a single lane bridge but don't worry, you can still get across it even in the biggest rig. Just wait your turn. When you leave, you can turn right out of the park and go through the cute little town of Troutdale to catch the freeway.
Very nice park with large RV sites and lots of shrubs/landscaping between sites. Strangely enough we were not allowed to ride our bikes around the RV park but it was fine. This is a family owned and operated park which is great because it is well maintained. Direct access to the dunes on a trail within the park. We would stay here again.
I'm rating this park based 100% on the beautiful setting. Amazing mountain views & located right on the river. Nice long grassy sites. We were lucky because it was not too crowded at the time but we could see how it would see tight if it was full. The whole park was very extremely green and covered in grass with trees surrounding and protecting the park. We had no trouble getting our satellite reception. They have a nice fire pit area that overlook the river. A very magical place & we will be back.
Very nice park and we were sorry we couldn't stay longer than our one night but we had a tight schedule. RV sites are very nice and level with grass in between. Nice pool area and the setting is beautiful with the adjacent winery. We will be back to stay longer next time.
This park deserves a 10+ because it is by far the nicest park we have ever stayed at. Super clean, very roomy sites, extra friendly and happy staff. I really can't find one negative thing to say about this park. It is family owned and operated which makes a difference. Hookups are in the right place so you don't need extra long water hoses or sewer hoses. Located right in the middle of the cutest little town of West Yellowstone, but also have amazing hiking trails (or winter cross country ski trails) adjacent to the park so it was excellent to take my dog running every morning. Lots of grassy areas in the park with great play area for kids. We were here for the 4th of July and it was one of the highlights of our trip with the cute hometown parade, and watching fireworks right at our campsite. We especially want to thank the staff for for working so hard to find a site for our friends during the super busy holiday week. Again, it really made our trip. We will definitely return to this park.
Nice, clean park with all paved sites, no landscaping. Is corporate owned with nice big office/store. Didn't use amenities at hotel next door but enjoyed the location to town. Ate at the best restaurant in town twice called Red Raven!
This is the best RV park choice in Durango. Only 5 minutes to town and in a beautiful pasture setting. Very nicely maintained park and we will only stay here when we are in Durango. The Wi-Fi did not work so ended up using our smart phone instead w/Verizon as our carrier & it worked just fine. Do not expect a speedy check-in as the staff is very slow & seem to be confused about how to complete the process on their computer system.
This is our second time at the Trailer Ranch Adult RV park and once again it did not disappoint. Beautifully maintained, conveniently located and very helpful owners/managers. We had a two night reservation but decided to stay a week & even though the park stays full the owners went out of their way to accommodate us & fit us in. We also enjoyed meeting and visiting with our neighbors. Very cheerful atmosphere.
Probably the best choice for RV parks in ABQ but it was the most expensive park we have ever stayed at. Convenient to shopping, etc., but not much info given to us upon check in. We had to find out things on our own. Lots of staff working to keep park clean and the sites are good sized.
Really nice older park but extremely well cared for. It is obvious the town has grown up around this park and it is located off a busy street but with the large front walls and lots of mature trees. It feels more like a hidden oasis that is close to shopping, restaurants, etc. They have a city bus stop right in front and it makes getting to the historic downtown a breeze. Their premium ‘Big Rig’ sites are actually large back-ins with wide (and level) concrete pads. Very helpful staff. Not sure what the person’s problem is that rated this park a 3 but it is pretty obvious from reading his other reviews that nothing makes him happy.
Older park but well cared for: kind of liked the rustic feel. Site configuration not the best but the location to the river IS the best in town. Very convenient to town, restaurants, etc. Excellent value for the money: most friendly staff! Big rig park close by wants twice as much per night and it is located right on the busy road.
Amazing RV park in a truly beautiful location! This is the largest park we have ever stayed at and it is well run for the amount of campers that flock to this location in the summer. Large pull-through's off the river are well spaced and well placed away from the more crowded tent sites. Very clean and well kept grounds. Camp store has most everything you need along with full floating tube rental shop. Just jump in the river and go: a free shuttle picks you up and brings you home. Will come back here again and again.
