Nice clean park. Have great fenced "off leash" area for dogs, but be careful if you have a smaller dog--it can sneak through the pickets. Sites are plenty big. Just an overnighter so didn't really check it out too much.
Nice park - like that have the small size gravel in the sites. New owner making improvements to landscape. Easy to Tombstone and Bisbee. There are more RV parks in Tombstone but didn't look as nice as this one. Sites have plenty of room for our 40' rig and toad.
Nice big park. Quite a few permanent stay in the front part of park but we had nice big spot in the back. Easy to get to the Caverns and downtown. Liked that they had a fenced off leash area for dogs. Would stay again if in area.
Nice clean park. I like that they have little pergolas at each site with chairs. Very friendly workers. Nice clean laundry room. Only spent one night but if in area will definitely stop again. Sites are big enough for our 40' rig plus our toad.
Nice park with great view of marina and river. Needs a little tender care - especially in laundry room - only 1/2 of washers and dryers work. Would like it if office stayed open later than 5:00. But those are just minor details for a great place to stay. Felt very safe in the gated park.
Just recently became KOA but also honor Good Sam. Very friendly owners and employees. Nice large sites, plenty room for our 40 ft motor home AND our toad - great off leash dog area - quite a few extended stay units. Close to Nashville and all the tourist stuff.
Great park. We were just passing through so only one night, but great base if doing Grand Canyon etc. in this area. Have lots of stuff to do at campground - we had breakfast at the little café - good food. Ask for a spot in the back - there are more trees. Plenty of room for our toad. Great employees. Clean park. Highly recommend.
Very friendly camp host at check-in. Have both pull-thru and back in sites. Back in sites have plenty of room - we have a 40' MH and had plenty of room for our tow vehicle. Only complaints are no 50 amp so could only run one A/C (and the weather was HOT) and the water pressure was not great.
Nice park, our site (#48) overlooked the stream and had great shade. Rating of 8 is because no 50 amp., but we didn't really need it as weather not real hot and could run 1 A/C at a time, when needed. Good water pressure. Fairly easy drive to Sequoia Park south entrance, enjoyed our day trip there. Easy check-in and very friendly host. Price reflects senior discount - they also offer military discount. Will stay here again.
Friendly folks, awesome pet area, tried the food wagon and had a pretty good breakfast delivered to our door !! Had the super bowl going in the rec room with snacks. They also provide garbage pick-up at your site. Close to Interstate but noise not bad. $$ reflects KOA discount. Our second stay here and will be back.
Nice park along the coast so had typical costal weather (overcast mornings and sunny afternoons). We were in S-35 & S-33 so had nice large sites, most sites looked to have plenty of room. Great water pressure. Very friendly employees. Will stay again.
Nice newer park, very friendly and quiet (some noise from freeway but not bad) will be great when trees mature more. Clean large sites with plenty of room for our 4 slides. There is grass at every site. Bike/walking path along adjoining river. (Rate includes 2 pets and Good Sam discount.)
Gorgeous and clean park. Has nice wide sites and each site has a table. All employees were very friendly and helpful. Dog area near our site was a bit small but they provide a key so one can exit to marina and park outside where it is great to walk the dogs. Good WiFi reception. (Rate includes 1 weekend night and 2 pets.)
Sites are plenty roomy for our 4 slides and had room to park our towed. Has a grass area at the back of each site and each site has a table. Nice fenced pet area. Quite a few long term folks but all sites are kept nice. Charge for Wi-Fi but only $1 per day with fairly decent reception. Easy off and on freeway but not much noise. (Averaged out rate includes 1 weekend day, 2 pets, a Wi-Fi fee and Good Sam discount.)
This is a beautiful and clean park, we stayed 4 nights. Everyone working here very friendly. Sites all have a nice grass area and plenty of room for our 4 slide outs. Good Wi-Fi reception. Conveniently located for our day trips to Pismo, San Simeon and Cambria. Nice pet area. Would have rated 10 but think $3 per day for pets is a little high. (Rate includes one weekend night 2 pets and Good Sam discount.)
Rate includes Good Sam discount. Manager couple are very friendly and helpful. Lots of "full time" spots: but very quiet and well maintained. The spot we had was plenty wide for our 4 slides and had enough room to park our towed vehicle. Great location to base for sight seeing in the area and up to Sutter Buttes.
Very clean, quiet and well manicured park. Curbside trash and recycle pick up a plus. All employees extremely friendly. Must try breakfast at their cafe - it is delicious. Nice dog area with plenty of room. Price reflects a discount coupon we used. Will definitely return.
Nice, clean, older park. Easy check-in and very friendly staff. Great dog area, well lit for late night outings. Easy to get to off freeway and very quiet. Plenty of room for our motorhome (with 4 slides) and towed vehicle in our site. Office recommended Mexican restaurant in shopping center next door and it was excellent. Will stay again if in that area.
Beautiful park we had a site over looking the river. Employees are very nice and helpful - show you to your site. Also great recommendations on restaurants. Perfect location for day trips to Sun dial bridge, Turtle Bay and Shasta Dam - no time for any other trips (rain) but will definitely go back.
Nightly rate includes fees for 2 dogs and Good Sam discount. All office people are very friendly. DO NOT follow your GPS directions - use the ones from the website - our GPS took us down a VERY narrow road just to save 3 to 4 miles. Spring is a great time to visit this place; everything is green and not too hot. I can imagine it is pretty crowded in the summer as it is on a BEAUTIFUL lake and has a boat ramp.
The "no refunds" sign in the office should have been my first clue! They gave us no "rules" or maps on checking in, then later were rude about where we were walking our dog (we ALWAYS pick up). We went here based on the 9's and 10's previous reviewers rated, I don't know where they stayed but this park is NOT a 9 or 10 in our book. It could use a LOT of TLC. There are nice trees but that is about the only good thing we have to say about it. We did not use the restroom/showers as we had full hook ups. There is not much of a channel line-up on the cable. There are no tables in the sites. Sure it is a gated park but if you try to enter after office hours (9-5) you wait a while for someone to answer and buzz you in (if they do at all). Guess our rates were higher than others posted because it was Thanksgiving week (we arrived on Tues and left on Sat). If at all possible we recommend you go about 2 miles further up Monterey Road and stay at a newer, more friendly park.
This is a very clean park - nice walking/jogging trail along the river. Large shaded sites. 88 full hookup - 59 electric & water and 21 tent sites. They also have yurts to rent; and according to website, 3 group tent areas. We enjoyed our 3 night stay very much. Be sure to make a reservation if you want full hook up.
Nice clean park, very friendly staff. Good if you are there to strictly gamble at the casino. I gave this a 7 only because we were traveling on a sight seeing vacation and enjoy spending evenings BBQing and visiting in our camp sites. No tables in site. A few tables along the grass on back side near the bay and not much room in our sites to set up chairs. We had room for our 4 slides, and it was long enough to park our towed vehicle in our site.
Great location for road trip through the Redwoods - must see "Founders Grove". Nice clean well developed park, friendly and helpfull staff. Nice grassy area next to each site - plenty of room for our 4 slides.
Great camp host. Nice wide and long paved spots with grass area and table next to each site. We are 40 foot with 4 slides and had plenty of room to include our toad. If you don't mind a little traffic noise this is the place to stay in Napa. Be sure to enter from Silverado Trail and not from Third Street. Glad we found a spot in this area that has 50 amp so we can run both AC's if we want to come back in the warmer months. We have found a new favorite spot in Napa.
