This is a fabulous park! We have stayed here many times and will return again! It is clean, the grounds are so tidy and in good repair. Each site has a picnic table and grassy area. The restroom and showers are spotless! We received a discount rate as we are Passport America members. The staff are friendly and helpful! They welcome pets and even have a fenced and non fenced grass pet area. It is accessable to the I-5 and close to Safeway and the Olive Pit. This is a great place to visit for any olive lover! You will enjoy your stay here and not be disappointed!

We discovered this park through Passport America. The park write up in the Passport catalogue makes this place sound like a first class resort. We were very disappointed in our stay here. They pack in the RV rigs so close together that one could not even put up their awning. This place should be condemned as there is no standard for RV's some of the permanent residents trailers etc. are from the 50's, with tires missing, tarps overtop of them, falling down etc. Not to mention the people living in them! It is truly depressing to see that people actually have to live like this. Families living in 28' trailers! Kids playing on the road etc. Cats and dogs everywhere! Don't get me wrong, we have a dog and appreciate parks that welcome pets. The only thing good about this place is the Manager, who is very friendly, hard working and knowledgeable of the area amenities etc. We couldn't get out of this place fast enough and will never return! We have RV'd for many years and across many states and provinces and this is the worst we have stayed at.

This place is in a good location to see the Caverns and the town of Carlsbad. The hosts are so friendly and helpful! The amenities are wonderful to have the games room, laundry c/w change machines, pool, tea room/common area, good selection on dvd rentals, store, playground, doggie park c/w treats etc. They thought of everything! The sites are level "dirt" sites and believe me there is lots of it! When the wind blows the dirt gets everywhere! Also the sites are very close together, and it would be nice to have more room between rigs. The cable TV did not work at our site and the Wi-Fi was poor. This place has great potential, just needs a little attention in certain areas. Nice to have payphone close and working. Also would be nice to have picnic tables at the sites. Our price is with the Passport America discount. We would return here again.

This is a real gem with large level sites, complete with picnic table and covered cabana. There are gorgeous views of the surrounding area and sunrise and sunset. We went on the guided tour of the canyon pictographs, excellent tour! For $5 we had very knowledgeable guide! The rest rooms were spotless and the sites as well. Friendly helpful staff, we phoned and they were so helpful to give us all the check in details as we arrived after office hours. Wonderful to have wifi at our site! We would definitely return here. There is also good mountain biking trail.

This is an excellent park! Level gravel sites each have their own grassy area and picnic table. Wifi is excellent, so nice to have it right in our rig and it works. It is a quiet location, and the camp host/manager is a lovely person--so helpful and welcoming. The office also organized with a booklet of info about the area etc. It has a nice laundry facility complete with flat screen TV and second TV in the common area. It is a good location to see the Ft. Davis, Marfa, Alpine areas and the observatory. I would have liked to stay longer here but must move on. Javalinas and deer roam the site so do be careful if you have pets. There is good cell phone service here.

This RV park is in a great location for visiting New Orleans. You can walk to almost all places in the French Quarter, although we did take a cab after dark as we did not feel safe walking and it was suggested by the camp hosts. Camp hosts and manager were very hospitable and ever so helpful in suggesting restaurants and answering our questions. The place was spotless clean and manicured all very appealing. We felt very safe once inside this gated community and in knowing there was 24 hr security. First class resort amenities, even the daily newspaper was provided. There is a little park right beside the resort that we used to exercise our pooch. The only downfall was that there were no picnic tables at the sites and the sites 14-19 are very noisy due to the freeway above. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to others.

This campground is in a good location to visit Disney World and the Outlet malls in Orlando. Both are about a 40 min drive. The sites are big and spacious, and well treed, but in need of maintenance, and we had an ant problem here. Also the showers and bathrooms were old and not appealing. There were cigarette butts in the shower, and generally they were not good. Office staff were friendly and helpful.

This park is a real gem! So beautiful! My only complaint is that there is no sewer hook ups at the sites and it is so popular they book reservations 6 months in advance. We came here from Canada and wanted to stay longer but had to change sites as they didn't have any we could stay in for more than two nights at a time. Even at that they were fully booked for the weekend and said they have a line up for sites that starts at 6:00 in the morning. Such a shame as we had traveled such a distance to get here. Also just to let you know they only allow pets in a certain section of the park and the wifi is at the office only. Friendly park staff though and great walking/biking trails, a pet beach and park and bike rentals etc. We would love to be able to return here but unfortunately don't feel hopeful of being able to get a site.

Lovely park! Roomy sites, spacious campground, friendly hosts and campers, reasonably priced, just the right amount of trees in the campground area. Great walking and biking trails from the site itself. We walked and felt like we were in the jungle, we saw turtles sunbathing, lots of birdlife, boardwalks through the forest, lake and canal within the park itself. Unfortunately the springs were closed so we couldn't see them. We would love to return here. I would have given this a 10 if it had wifi and laundry facilities.

We think this campground is over rated. It is one thing to rate the campground and another the location and amenities outside the camp itself. When I say 6/10 I mean the campground and to rate Jekyll Island itself I would give it a 9/10. The campground is the only camp on the island so one does not have another choice. The sites are so close to one another we could literally watch our neighbor's TV from our back window. Also this camp is far too shaded with trees, we didn't get any sun. The sites are gravel and bring in a lot of dirt and debris. They let campers in at all hours of the night i.e. 11:30 pm ( more than once). Wifi access is only available at the community room and is not all that strong. This room closes at 9:00pm. It seems to have lots of return guests but I wonder if that is because it is the only camp on the island and the island itself is a gem. Biking, trails, beaches, birding, fishing etc. fabulous!!

Good location for access to Charleston. Staff were not very friendly or helpful. Although it says there is a lake it is very small and swamp like, with birds. Some bugs as well. Wi-Fi was only available at the laundry room. There were not enough washers and dryers for the amount of campers. Close to amenities like Wal-Mart, Costco etc. We used our Passport America discount.

Good location for access to Savannah, also to amenities. Friendly staff they even escorted us to our site. Fairly quiet location even though it is located near auxiliary highway. Nice nature park next door with lovely walking trails and canal. Gravel, level, shaded sites with huge oak trees. Excellent wWi-Fi and cable reception. Would return here again and recommend this for sightseeing Savannah.

This park is a real gem! We stayed here 2 nights and wished we could stay longer but we were just passing thru on our way further south. Bathhouses are clean but old. Would give this a definite 10 if it had Wi-Fi and cable but otherwise no complaints. Beautiful beach, lots of shade sites, friendly staff, wonderful hiking and walking trails. Great local seafood available not far up the road at Gay's Seafood, bought it fresh off the boats. Camping fee is good for access to the lighthouse as well. Definitely recommend this place!
