All back in sites in a very new, modern looking campground. Price reflects location to the French quarter (less than 1/2 mile). You are downtown New Orleans, so there is a large wall surrounding the campground, but there is very good security with guards driving around the campground 24hrs. on a golf cart. Prices go way up during events, but when we come back we will certainly look this place up first.
We stayed here during the week (not during the trade show). The park was very nice and clean along with the facilities. Long level concrete pads with good cable and wifi. Only complaint, 100 degrees and no shade. If you're passing through and the trade show is not going on, it's a great place to stop especially for the price.
We were a little hesitant to stay here because of the other reviews, and they are right. If you have kids and are staying in the Mt. Rushmore area I would highly recommend this KOA. The list of activities and amenities for kids goes on and on. The kids would rather stay at the campground than go sightseeing. If you don't have kids you may want to stay away.
This was a nice little clean family owned campground. We had a pull through in the back. Cable worked great with a lot of channels. Pool was nice and heated, good playground for the kids. Less than 5 miles from downtown Dodge.
This park is right off the interstate and convenient to OKC. The campground is a couple hundred yards from the hotel and you have to walk through the Denny's parking lot to get to it. The campground power went out for a few hours and the hotel really didn't seem to care. There was trash at most of the sites that was never cleaned up during our stay and the cable TV didn't work well. The up side is the free breakfast buffet every morning, and the use of the pool.
Park was clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. The roads were paved and it was pretty easy getting in the site. Kids loved the pool and jump pillow and the bathrooms were very clean when we were there even though the facility is pretty old. Close to the beach and all the Myrtle beach action. We will come back here next time we visit Myrtle beach.
Pretty basic park. Paved roads with gravel sites. Cable TV was pretty good and the staff was very friendly. The roads getting to this park are very narrow and it's off the beaten path even though it appears to be right off the interstate. Not bad for an overnight stay.
We had a great time at this resort. Staff was friendly and very helpful. The site was one of the biggest I've ever seen (site #17a) even though it was a back in, it was huge. The pool was heated and nice and the beach was right across the street. The resort was booked full when we stayed but the sites were secluded and very quiet at night. The only complaint is the same as everyone else, the roads the sites the sidewalks all sand. With that in mind it would not keep us away if we can get reservations we will be back next year.
Nice little campground for an overnight stay. We pulled in at around 11:00 P.M. and all of the "late arrival" spots were full. Called the office and the lady said that we could take any of the pull-through spots. Hookups were fine, over 60 cable channels, and the laundry area was really nice. The office was closed so we just paid the next morning. The staff was really nice and we would stay here again for an overnight.
If you are looking for a five star "big rig" RV park, this is the place for you! Our site had an outdoor kitchen equipped with a fridge, gas grill, and gazebo with ceiling fan and stereo. Pet friendly and kids are welcome, but not really catered toward them. Staff is VERY friendly and grounds are gorgeous.
