Beautiful park and amenities. Not much to do outside the park and it can get real hot here. The dog runs could really use some shade. Other then that the pool and grounds are amazing. We stayed on a river front spot which was beautiful. The only problem was on the other side of the park where we had a lot of noise from people doing donuts in their car and we woke to a homeless person sleeping in the bushes. I truly would return but probably only overnight or during the colder months
Beautiful park. Clean grounds and pool. Dog park is amazing and the shuttle will take you to the casino or store any time. If you are heading here make sure you program the store not the casino into you GPS or you will go in a not so RV friendly route . We did make it but it was tight pulling a 36ft RV.
This is a nice park. A little difficult to get to pulling a 36 ft fifth wheel. Small roads with lots of turns. The sites are fairly small and not easy to pull into. We stayed in site 49. It was okay but had it been really hot you would have no shade. Sites 74 and 73 would be a great choice for access and shade. Short walk to Columbia, which is a great town. Lots of activities
This park would get great reviews if it wasn't for the winds, 40 to 50 mile an hour winds that don't stop. If you're a wind surfer this is your park; if you are not, I would avoid it. Positives. The park is clean. If you stay with a minimum three other travelers they have great wind break area to enjoy complete with BBQ and seating area. The host that checked us in was really pleasant and they monitor the area all the time. Negatives. This is a dog friendly place and they have a great dog run however you can't let the dogs run or they will be loaded with fox tails and stickers. No activities to do unless you want to wind surf. No pool. It's too windy to enjoy the fishing and about 30 minutes to any store or restaurant.
