Now this is what we call a top rate RV resort that is open to the public without owning a lot. Love it and will always stay at this resort when in the area. We only stayed one night this time, but not our first time. Just had to leave before weather set in. Wish there were more like this.
Very disappointed in this being called a resort. We have never stayed in a so called RESORT that the pad was sand...We don't go to beaches because we don't like sand. A very nice entrance and gal is office especially nice. Easy in and out. Pool looked great. Restaurant appeared more like a bar. Heard great reports about the restaurant, but I went over to get hamburgers to go. I asked for hamburger well done, but didn't expect burned. Couldn't eat it. BLACK on outside of patty. Others loved the restaurant, so maybe just a fluke. But didn't go back because of that. The music in the bar was very nice though. No really separate clubhouse. Nice big couch for relaxing, but it was in the office/store area. Not inviting to go sit and read and relax. The park on a whole was big and easy. But just too dusty for us and so we will not go back. Just didn't expect sand which is the main reason we will not go back. For a resort this didn't meet our expectations.
Understand this is a fairly new RV park connected with the Casino...very clean and grass is beautiful. Grass is watered from a mat (?) under the grass so no sprinklers to come on and make a mess. Trees are growing and will be nice for shade in a few years. The swimming pool in casino is extra nice and area is wonderful. The price quoted is for mid week, but weekend, Saturday and Sunday are $49.00 which seems a bit steep especially for a casino park, but we will stay here again.. Especially nice and clean and easy access.
One of our favorite parks, even though not much for view. But the owners/managers are terrific. The small cozy (like home feeling) club house is the best. We now travel in a small motorhome, so this was really enjoyed when it rained for a couple of days. Love the jigsaw puzzles on the big tables. The park is totally paved and the sites are wide enough for space to sit out in chairs. Location is good. Close to Fred Meyers and close enough to all the local activities. Will always stay at this park when in the area..
A great spot to stay. Laundry and restrooms great. Always love the hamburgers and onion rings at the casino. A shuttle runs thru park to take to casino. Some spots can be cold if wind blowing, but overall it is great. Have stayed here many times and always will again when in the area...so easy in and out access. Best spot in area.
We love this little RV park. Manager/owners are extra nice...We have stayed here for quite a few times over the last few years and this will always be our favorite in the area. We are in a 24 ft motorhome, but did stay here years ago in a 40ft. Not a problem. Some permanents way in the back, but quiet and clean. Nice little club house also. Will always stay here as we travel through.
We were pleasantly pleased with the park. Being a place near lots of fishing we were not expecting it to be as nice as it was. We had paved roads and paved site and nice grass between. Appears to have lots of fishermen staying there, but the part of the park we were in the people were very nice, and quiet and overall a very nice park. Would stay again. Didn't go down to the back where there are tents, etc., so have no comment on that. But certainly would recommend. The gal in the office was very nice and helpful..
We also have stayed many times here. Park used to have lots of flowers, but last two years things seem to be let go. I noticed prior review says the park is for sale. Hopefully, someone will buy and take pride of ownership. We always park in the front as the back used to have a lot of unkept permanents. Haven't walked back there this year. It is a good location and needed in this area, so hopefully it will improve. Yes, $35.00 is a bit steep for no showers or cable. Restroom are okay, just very old.
Park very nice if you have children. It appears to have lots to do, although we don't have children, so being there are so many here riding around all the time it is not our favorite.Do have to mention that the children were very well behaved. Restrooms were large and women's was clean, but husband said men's was a mess(especially with a lot of children here). Office help was very nice and we were lucky to get an end spot..Probably would not stay again as we like the smaller quieter parks..But good location...
This is a fairly new park. Great location, great price, great manager, but park definitely needs to improve first impression. Park looks as if no one cares when you first turn in...Totally a turn off. Won't recommend to our friends as they are used to a nicer appearing place. No place to set chairs. Pads are very narrow. Management says the owners are considering replacing the ground cover which has gone to weeds to something else. We will probably give it one more try, but if no improvement will pay more and stay somewhere else. The pool and club house is very nice also. Lots of potential, but sad if it isn't improved on.
This is our favorite RV park in Brookings. Have stayed a number of times before. Older, but very nice owners. A family owned park, recently taken over by two sisters from a brother and are doing lots of improvements. Since we don't like dirt and sand this is perfect. All paved roads and sites. Nice touch is a wooden step to put in front of our door and a table cloth supplied for the nicely made picnic table. Roads are a bit narrow, but not a problem. Just across the road from an RV park on the beach, so it is within walking distance if you wish to walk on the beach. And sunsets are nice from here. Will always stay here when in the area. We are staying a week, so one night will be free making the nightly price $27.00
Very nice spot, especially if you don't like to park in dirt. Showers, restrooms, game room and owners are especially nice. All paved which is nice as we don't like dirt. Not a lot of view, but think it probably is as nice as you will find around here unless you are into fishing, camping by the ocean or woods etc. We will definitely come here when through this area again.
Okay for short stay. Older park. People in office very nice. Back part of park has live-ins and looks pretty rough. There are pull throughs in the back, but felt much better in the front. Front part is backins and very large and wide. No more showers at this park. Some problem in the city with water. We have stayed here numerous times and would again traveling through. Used to have lots of beautiful flowers but didn't this time. Maybe our timing.
One of the nicest small parks we have stayed in. We have stayed here four times before and always have been pleased to get in. We don't do reservations very far in advance and felt lucky we could get in the week prior to the Lavender Festival. The Saturday continental breakfasts are a nice touch and especially the lavender pastries during the lavender festival. The host campers are the best. The owners are very nice. (And we are glad there are not any old grubby RV's allowed in here per a prior review). Nice grass between sites. A little tight for big 5th wheels, but they manage to get into spot with little problems. We will ways try to stay here. Nicest and neatest and cleanest in the area.
We have stayed at this campground numerous times and have enjoyed the spot. Nice view and owners and staff are especially nice. Older park and could use some street maintenance, but restrooms have been completely remodeled and very nice and clean. Good exercise to get to the pool if you park on lower part, but I need the exercise so it was good. We are in a smaller RV which makes it easy, but I see people with large ones and large 5th wheels get in even though it looks difficult.
Always have liked this RV park. Have stayed here many times. New owners. Many construction workers here while freeway under construction, but lots are kept clean and a nice group of people. Sometimes this is not the case, but here it doesn't seem to be a problem. We have never noticed train noise, but maybe if you were in the very back you could hear it. Be careful as freeway off-ramps are confusing due to construction and its easy to miss exit 261. Address is wrong: so until fixed on GPS be sure to call for instructions if coming in from other than I-15.
Location is great. Cable is only available in back RV spots which are completely just a dirt parking lot. Not happy about that. Dust was not bad as we got in later in the day and left fairly early, but would imagine when all the quads start rolling it could easily be a dust bowl. Showers only in the front office area which is quite aways from the back area, so didn't use. The best place to park is across the street, to take shuttle to the park, which is the best way to see the Bryce Canyon.
We loved this RV park when it was Beaudry. So was happy to see it open again. We went down to spend Christmas in the Tucson area. As it was our Jeep tow got a bit sick so we ended up just staying around the park for four days. The Christmas Eve buffet was excellent, and we are not buffet people. The music was wonderful as usual with the same man as when it was Beaudry's. A real highlight. Was disappointed as I have heard others say the restaurant is not open on Sunday or Monday and we would have eaten there both days. The breakfast buffet could be much improved and was disorganized, no fruit and had to ask to refill juice, but we hope with time it will be improved. Will stay here again and hopefully soon. Park was not very full, but perhaps because people may still think it is closed.
Wonderful little park. Older park, gravel sites and nice green grass between sites. Did check out other parks, and this was the best and most relaxing. We were so glad to find this on this website. Loved sitting by the river with a good book. Park is close enough to go to Joseph, Enterprise and other beautiful areas. Owners are exceptionally nice. Would definitely stay here next time in the area. We stayed here a week, for the weekly rate of $165.00.
Loved this park. Just took it by chance when we saw that they had paved streets and paved sites. A few sites are out of the trees where we could get dish TV. They had cable, but it was limited. People are very nice. Our price was Passport America. We ended up staying three nights. If going to this park do not follow GPS. Go in off 139 at Eagle Lake Rd to, I think it was Stoddard, and drive to the end and turn right. The west side of the lake is pretty but quite windy. Nice for a day ride. Would and will stay here again. Nice view of this the second largest natural lake in California, and known for rainbow trout.
Park was cute and front desk gal very nice and helpful. We had a good spot with a wide space and grass and trees behind our MH with nice view of golf course and mountains. I would rate this park much higher if they would have just charged a couple dollars more for space instead of charging a dollar for a few minutes of shower and $5.00 to dump. No dump station at site. I hate this extra few bucks for everything.
The restrooms and pool were nice, but the showers floors were so black that you hated to step on them. A little bleach would do wonders. And for some reason, there are lots of bad sewer smells around the park. We have stayed here numerous times before and all was okay. Think we will look for another park next time. People in the office were very nice and efficient.
Restrooms and showers were very nice. Lady in the office seemed a bit pushy, but okay. We had a riverside backin which was nice hearing the river, but since we don't like dusty dirty places to park we will not be back and can't rate it very high. And as I look at the past review, I realize it is a Passport American park, so could have paid less and maybe it would have been worth the price, but not $38.
Nice park, nice setting, easy to get into and around and nice gal in the office. The only complaint I have is charging for the showers. Would rather pay and extra buck or two and have free showers. SO much easier. Would stay here again.
Loved the park. Would stay here again. It's not far off I-5 and so quiet with a great walking path around the park. Lots of rules, but that is what we like. Spaces were wide with cement pads and paved roadway. Had lots of places to sit on grass to relax. Older park, but spaces have been widened to accommodate slides. We checked out other parks on way to Mt. St Helens, and this is the best. Definitely on our list for next time through.
Price includes tax. Good location, people in office nice. Park has a lot of tents and looks like some permanents, so restrooms were not that clean. Nice, but not clean in the mornings. Didn't use pool. We had a nice spot. Probably would stop here again, because of area doesn't have that many good parks.
Nicest RV resort we have been in that has not been a buy into. Everything was wonderful. Beautiful club house, pool, walk by the river, people. Just couldn't ask for better. We took the $30.00 side as we could see the spot was not next to highway, so not a problem with highway noise. Other side of club house is a bit more $, but not much. Will always stay at this resort.
Exceptionally nice RV resort. We stay here whenever we have to be in Palm Desert for appointments. Girl in the office is very nice. There is some construction going on in the clubhouse, but since this has been taken over by Sunland, the work they have done is great. Has a beautiful laundry and restroom. I did ask for a Good Sam discount as we got it the first time we stayed on 6/8 so price was $55.92. Realized after checking the bill when home, that we'd paid $58.37 the second stay. Prices have gone up. Can see with contstruction, the additional cost is probably necessary, but do think it's a bit high for summer rates. Railroad noise didn't bother us.
Nice older campground. A little different to locate, but following directions it is not that difficult. Nice touch was the set up ironing board and iron in the ladies restroom. The lady checking us in was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed being in the trees, but still able to get our satellite. Would stay here again.
This park is handy off the interstate and for $15.00 Passport America, is okay. No way is it worth $30-$35 a night. Was told there are new managers and the price has gone up from what is stated. Must have cash, no checks or credit cards. One bathroom with a tub, which looked just okay, and was for both man and woman. No toilet paper. Glad we have our own. Sounds like new owners are moving trailers in, so may not be an RV park in the future. Might check before planning on stopping here, although it is easy to get back on freeway.
I use this site regulary and because no one had entered a review since 2007, we thought maybe it was not in business. But luckly we noticed it as we drove by and it looked neat and clean, so after checking the others in the area, we came back to this and so glad we did. We are in a 23ft b-van so the size was perfect for us. Big motorhomes better check first. It is a small older park behind a motel. The restrooms and laundry were old, but exceptionally clean. The owners were two of the best, partial reason for giving it such a good rating. Owners made a special point of thanking us for choosing their park before we left this morning. Never have had that before or at least this couple made you feel like they meant it, not just a standard thank you. Would stay here again and recommend it to smaller vehicles like ours.
We just stumbled on this park with only a yellow plastic sign saying RV PARK. It is a small park with great view next to a nice walking path. There are no extras, it is just a place to park, but it worked great for us. There are only 12 spaces, but one was open for a pull through and we enjoyed the view. We would stay here again.
It is okay for an overnight stay with hookups. It is nothing fancy. There are no restrooms or showers. The food not so good. We had a free steak dinner and veggies were cold. The rolls came after we had eaten dinner. The steak was not done enough for husband. It included one trip to salad bar, but was not told soup OR salad. There was no lettuce, so we took soup and waited on salad to find out that it was either soup or salad, but gal let us have salad, but they were out of ranch dressing. So we wouldn't not recommend the food. We will go to nearby restaurant for breakfast.
This has always one of our favorite parks. We didn't have reservations so had to move a few times, but it is worth it to be at this park. The hosts are wonderful. And you wont find a cleaner park. We will always try to get into this park when in the area. A nice continental breakfast on Saturday and Sunday is another nice touch. The owners are very involved and it shows.
We agree. Sites way to small for current RV's with slides. And sites not any where near level. And yes, sewer is way to far back for most motorhomes. We will dump at next park. Not worth the trouble to back up to dump. Price is okay and people in office very pleasant. Understand it is under new management and some of the problems with electrical and water leaking at faucet are being take care of, but nothing anyone can do about the size of the sites.. Wont' stay here again.
Liked the park. Easy in and out and girl in office very nice and helpful. Park is not finished so there were no showers yet, but being built. The cement sites and road into park were good, but the gravel in front of the office was deep, and noisy. The one bathroom between where the showers were going to be was used by a lot of tenter and dry campers, so it was hard to keep clean but was OK. The bathroom in the laundry area was clean, but no mirror. Would stay here again when in area and sure the place is improving all the time.
I am only giving this a 7 instead of a 10 as I know what it will be and always has been. The park changed ownership three weeks ago and the new manager came on board only yesterday. The park is still one of the best. We had a great spot, across from the beautiful pool. The sites are not overly large for large motorhomes and tow vehicles, but plenty of parking spots close by tow vehicles. The landscapers seem to be out working very hard and the grounds were well mowed. The pool was dirty, but the pool guy is was here today. Club house was not open because of changes. Train noise is a concern, but didn't bother us. Park will now be open year round. Maybe it would be good to give discount prices during the summer to get people in here. Park was mostly empty. We will be back.
Always one of our favorite. We are staying there again the end of this month and it will be our third time this year. Always friendly office help. Host campers keep the lots very nicely raked and clean. Sometime fruit on the trees. The only thing that might be nicer is to have a couple of chairs around the table. As we are now traveling in smaller motorhome, we don't carry extra chairs, so anyone visiting from other lots must bring their own chairs.
An okay deal at passport rate of $24.00 plus tax. Definitely not worth full price of $50.00. The pad was not clean. The sewer top was buried in the weeds around electric hookup. Hookup was full of spiders. The guys next door appeared to be here for a while and were messy. Long term workers, in late, out early. Noisy. A guy came around early to check site tag was covered with tattoos and piercing,( face, body,) pretty scary. We are not into that. Lady in the office was very nice and accommodating. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. Didn't hear train as mentioned in other reviews. Wont come again. Other parks near by are much nicer.
Not a fancy park, but nice. It is an easy on and off the freeway. The inside pool looked wonderful and the people in the office were very nice. We used Passport America. We didn't have reservations which this park seems to really want, but were allowed to use it anyway. A limo service to the local steak house was available. We didn't use it, but saw it go thru. Nice large pull through sites. We would stay here again.
We have stayed here many times on way home. It is an easy off and on the freeway. The restrooms are very nice and clean. The office help always have been pleasant. It is not a fancy park, but it is handy and clean and large pull through sites. Yes, permanents in the back, but away from the overnighters. They do drive a bit fast through, but we have had a paved road, so at least no dust. And will stay here again. We didn't notice any train noise as a prior review stated.
Great view and we lucked out again with no reservations and got a perfect view spot. Older park but the view and out of the hubbub of the city it worked great for us..A nice quiet spot. We pulled in here about 3:30 and again got one of the last spots. We used PPA for the cheaper rates. And would stop here again in the area. We are in a 23 ft Coachhouse Van with Tow and got a pull thru, but does look like a lot of the spots would be a bit difficult to get into. Lots are tiered to take advantage of the views.
We lucked out without reservations, but stopped about 2:30. And got the last spot. Great stopover. Fairly new park. Owners were great and the park is very clean. Some long term people, because of construction in area, but all spots nice and neat. It was an easy off and on the freeway and the Flying J was small but one of the easiest we have used. Would definitely stop here if coming in this area. We took '7' over the mountain to Branson. A beautiful ride and road was good. A bit windy for large motorhomes, but doable. But we were in a 23ft and it worked great for us.
Lucked out on this one. Great park. Will always stay here when in area. Restrooms, pool all above expectations. We happened to get a spot with no reservations and a free seafood was going on. Another bit of luck. The beach, pier and sunset was perfect. Nice swings by the beach. We were in the front part of the park which we liked as I am sure it was quieter and less children than up by the beach, but even with that the park was not that noisy. Nice cabins for renters. The people working there were above average and seemed to have a real desire to have the place look great. You can tell people enjoyed being there. A must when we are in the area again.
Park is very old and mostly permanent trailers or park models. We used Passport America. We had to be near the area, so this worked for us. People in the office were exceptionally nice. The electricity was marginal. In fact my husband always uses a tester before plugging in and we had a ground fault error. He tested pole and it appeared okay, so wondered if it was us, but have not had any problems since, so really think the park is very old and maybe new vehicles might have more requirement. But the electricity did work and we took the chance on the ground fault error on tester. There appears to be very few spots, so don't know if we would stay here again, but it worked for what we needed for the night. We were in a 23 ft van with tow, so spot was large enough for us, but don't know as it would be good for anything much bigger.
Park has all the potential of a great 10.. I reviewed down because of the bathrooms, laundry and pool being only marginally clean. But the owners or managers told me they were improving these three items and I will believe them, so would definitely stay here again. The park is easy off the freeway. The spaces had plenty room and basically it is a great spot. The flea mart next door was not doing that well, so not worth the walk over or perhaps it was the time we were there. The people in the office were very nice. Yes, planes over head, but didn't bother us that much. The little lake was nice and the club house was nice and a beautiful pool. Overall it is worth considering if in the area. We will come again.
Park is old, but large and level and easy to access. Nothing special about the park, but people in office pleasant. We have stayed here before and probably would again, but it would be nice to have some of the potholes and roadway into the park smoothed. Same with the whole town. Roads in town were terrible. Not sure we will ever come to the area again because of this.
An older park, but nice. The owners were very helpful and we had a wonderful big tree to sit under. And were still able to get our tv dish reception. We only stayed here one night but would stay here again when coming this direction. It was a nice quiet park and a welcome spot to stay.
This is an older park, but well worth the stay. Prior owners have taken the park back over. They are extremely friendly and helpful. The view is outstanding. You overlook the whole city. Don't let the first look at the road down into the campground scare you. It is okay for even big motorhomes. It is centrally located which is perfect. The trees are nice and there are some lots with grass and the two layers down are grassy and great for tents. We had plenty of room for slides and awnings. We were able to get our tv dish receptions and the owners were willing to move us if we were not able to, but we had no problems. Not much for children to do, but for us it was a nice quiet stop after a long days ride. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a 24 ft van with a tow and were in a pull thru, so did not have to unhook to get into our spot.
Basically this is one of the prettiest RV spots on the coast. Love the trails down to the beach and the park is very clean. We did learn that we had been spoiled on other years we stayed here. We had been lucky enough to get front sites with cable. At this time they were not putting over nighters on these sites, so we were back in the back of the park and it was more like a campground with roads tight and lots of children. Still we will stay here again, but will check on site before staying.
We did not stay after checking out the site. Park is probably good for some that belong to coast to coast or want a membership park. I called and asked if it was a membership park and was somewhat misled that it was not and to come on in. We did just that. But finding out to get a reduced price we would have to take a tour. We asked to check out the sites we could be in and was found it was a grassy field type with some mud already in the site and the restrooms would be portable potty and no showers in the area. We did not stay. And since it did rain shortly after we left we would have been in a mud hole. Will have to say the overall looked nice if it is what you want and the people in the office were very nice. Location to the sites would have been good. But not our type of rv park.
We have stayed in this park before. It is an okay park. It is old, but people were friendly, except the guy at night when I called he said it was booked completely, but I could call in morning of which I did and there were plenty of spots. Maybe because of fires causing cancelations, but I really think the guy on nights did not have a clue. It is overpriced but probably because of 4th of July, which people came for and the fireworks were canceled. Undestand if you are golfer it is a neat golf course. Probably would stay again, but not for $65.00. Restrooms were okay altho very old. But everything there is old. A must is to walk to the Benbow Hotel and go inside. Very nice. But the lake is being drained, so will no longer be a draw, because the dam has been determined to be unsafe.
One of the nicest rv resorts in the area. So sad that a developer is wanting to close and build condos. The truth is that the park has been bought by a developer and part of the park has been divided off and developed, but with the real estate market as it is the rest of the park has been able to remain open. The grounds, clubhouse, pools, amenities are beautiful and the park is hopeful to stay open another couple of years.
Pleasantly pleased. Great little park. Lady in office was very nice and helpful. The restrooms were absolutely spotless. The roads and parking sites were paved. Nice trees and grass between sites. Looked like some long term people here, but all looked good. The train did not bother us as one review mentioned. It was not that loud. All back-ins, but not a problem for us. Number of large motorhomes here so that is not a problem either. The best deal in town.
A good spot for a stop over. Office help very nice and helpful. Can walk out back gate to road across to restaurant. Our spot was nice and large under beautiful trees. The new area for larger motorhomes do not have trees yet. Notice one review mentioned 'worst full timers' but we have seen much worse and didn't think that a problem. Actually didn't rate restrooms as clean, but actually stalls and shower was fairly clean, but inviting appearance was terrible. The doors to get in were filthy and parts of inside above sinks needed paint or cleaning. I didn't take a shower as it just was not overall clean looking. But would stay here again if coming through as it is better than the KOA.
One of the best small parks we have been in. Price include tax and the discount for staying a week. Management were very nice and campers some of the nicest. The restrooms and laundry were extra clean and the dressing areas in the showers were larger than many places. We loved the fact the roads were paved and the sites were not dusty. Also having a cement pad and table was nice. ALso you could wash your vehicle for a small fee which my husband loved. The little cabins were cute and completely stocked. A great little pizza place adjacent to the park. Would recommend this to anyone coming thru and we would stay here any time in area. We were close enough to Glacier and the Flathead lake was beautiful. It is definitely a gem for the area.
Park is great and easy behind a casino. Had a nice view of the bay. Didn't have reservations, but it is advised. The only drawback is no showers or restrooms, but gal at desk said there are rumors of maybe one someday. Would stay here again. Found the office help to be very efficient, not as others had experienced. They were friendly and helpful. Tuesday is Senior Day so the park is usually very full due to special discounts for seniors.
Rate reflects Good Sam rate.. We don't do reservations so this was our only choice which turned out to be just fine. Not a fancy park by any means, but the view was great. The area was quiet and the park at the marina was a great place to walk with beautiful grass. The restrooms are old, but were clean. The lady that checked us in was very pleasant. Looks like quite a few spend the summer here and the rv's were well kept up. It was a good choice and would come back here again.
We have stayed at this park maybe three times and it works well. The people are very nice and helpful. We have always stayed in the front area of the park. It appears some are permanent living in the back, but didn't seem to be a problem. The flowers are refreshing and even tho we were first space next to highway the noise was not a problem. The restrooms and showers were old, but clean. I would have rather paid an extra dollar a night and not have to pay for shower. And a mirror or sink would have been nice in the shower area, but other than that we will be back and stay any time in the area. .
A really nice park and a nice location. Just wish we could have stayed longer. We did not have reservations so could only get one night. We are in a 20 ft Pleasure Way Van and had lots of room. People in the office were very nice and helpful. Liked the idea of a free shuttle into Cannon Beach. Will stay here again when we come thru. Cannon Beach looks like a delightful town.
We didn't have reservations, but were able to get in. Would recommend them. We got the last spot available. We also used the coupon on the website to get a 4th day free. But the coupon does have to be printed out. It is a nice park. The third time we have stayed here. Restrooms are clean and the personnel are very nice. The discount mall is one of the prettiest, just out a gate at the back of the park. A real pleasure to stay here.
A great location, easy in and out, great people in the office. We were able to get a spot with short notice. Decided to stay an extra four days as a week gives you one day free. (fee entered is for a week. Can't find receipt so think this is what it averaged for staying seven days). Park has been redone by the city and it is great. Nice view of the bridge and bay. Most lots have new bark, but was sad to see the weeds not taken care of as it is such a nice park and just that little extra maintenance would be rated #10. Only one shower, but exceptionally clean. Was told there are more showers in a building at the marina. Laundry extra clean and only $1.00. Will always try to get in here when passing thru...
Always one of our favorite. Extra nice showers/laundry. Easy in and out. We are in a B Van and towing. Didn't have reservations until that morning. Was lucky to get a spot. No spot over the weekend, as park is very popular, but did get a spot for four nights. Third time here and will always try to stop here each time we come thru...
Great little park. Quiet even tho in the harbor. Easy in and out and the greatest people to greet us. The restrooms and laundry are probably some of the cleanest we have ever been in for the past 10 years of rving. Can't recommend it enough if they have room for you. Quite a few seasonal people here, but all kept very neat and clean. We are in a 20 ft van, so of course we have plenty of room. But do see large motorhomes and they seem to fit quite easily. We will be back.
I agree with prior review. The park is very dated, but clean. The people were very nice. Pads could be pressured washed and detailed, but we would stay here again. Very convent and probably the best in the area. We are not golfers, but understand from another camper that this is a great little golf course and has some great history, but this person said that somehow the history has gotten lost. No one in the office knew of this. I forget the name of the designer, but these people were very impressed and loved the golf course. We would stay here again. It is easy on and off the freeway also. I do think the ad in Woodalls is a bit overkill but it is a good spot to stay.
This park, with a bit of extra effort, could very well be a top park. The office personnel were nice and helpful. The pool area was extra nice and clean, the laundry was okay as RV laundry go. The restrooms were clean. We saw no dogs or dog waste near where we were parked. We are in a 20 foot van with a tow and had a pull through site. Plenty big for us, but pads would be a bit narrow for big rigs with slides, but doable. The trash area was a real mess with lots of weeds. With these two things corrected, the park would be great. Easy off freeway and easy entrance for big rigs. A man, working at trimming bushes, asked if we were okay, and was pleasant. Would stay here again, just would like to see a little more concern about appearance. Did look like a lot of "live-ins."
Way off the beaten path and should be restricted to not larger than 30 ft. We are in a 20 ft van and were okay, but had to squeeze our little car in beside our van so bigger RV's could get in and most all had a terrible time getting into their sites as they are very short. The manager was nice and the park had pretty flowers and the restrooms were clean, but the office was not particularly neat. Did have paved roads but gravel sites and the picnic table was not clean. The park area had lots of dog excrement so had to be careful where you stepped. The price was $60.00 but seniors got a $5.00 discount. The park has no amenities and was not worth that price. We have stayed in some of the best and didn't pay this much. Would not recommend or come back. Oh, we were not told that they did not take Visa, nor checks. Had to have cash or travelers check.
We did not have reservations and the 4th of July was coming up. We first got in for a week, but knew we would have to change sites, which was okay. We put our name on a list for cancellations and were fortunate to get another week to stay through July 5th (this did cost us $72 including tax, holiday and a pull through site) a night. But the park was great. Maintenance did a great job keeping the duck stuff under control. The park behind was really extra wonderful and the fireworks were the best.
The new part of the park opened one week ago and it appears it is used for smaller rigs. We are in a 20 ft van with a tow. We fit just fine, but did think some were finding it very tight. The management was very nice and as it was holiday weekend we felt lucky to get a spot. It is a good location for touring the area. A trolley stops outside the park. Nothing for children to do here so they did play in the street which was not good. But would stay here again next time through.
Our favorite park in the area. Park is exceptionally clean and the security is great. Will always stay at this park. We were in a 20 ft Pleasure Way van towing a Mini Cooper and the pull through was perfect. Location is great for touring the growing area.
Best park on the coast. Hope we can always get into it as this secret has probably been found. I am guessing at what we paid, as not sure. So the price might be incorrect, but whatever we paid it was worth it.
This park was always one we recommended, but no more. Very disappointed in the upkeep of the park. Could be very nice. Seems management is not interested in details any more. Sites are easy in and out, but just not kept up. Hope this improves, but at the moment we will not stay there again.
Loved this little park. Being there when the Laveder festival was on made it extra special. The great greeting with brunch made of things using lavender was really special. People were friendly and helpful. Would never want to stay anywhere else when visiting this town.
