We stayed during spring break and it was COLD, but the campground was great. The beach would be nice in the summer and the spacious sites were great. The facilities were clean, and and the camp host was very nice and kept the sites very nice. The store/ office was only open seldom which could be an issue if you stay before peak season.
We enjoyed our stay (especially the renovated beach). We had a problem with power on Saturday and it was dealt with immediately and we appreciated how often the guys checked back to make sure we were ok. However, the bathrooms and trash on the other hand were a major issue. The men ran out of toilet paper Sunday morning and the women had one stocked stall after Sunday. The trash piled up until Monday morning. As we were leaving (noon on Monday) they were there to clean the restrooms. For a campground so full on a Labor day weekend, the facilities should have been maintained more than once.
