So much potential but so disappointing. Needs major work and a professional company to manage it. The bathrooms were not kept up, and no warm water in our shower. Grass had not been cut recently, and roads need to be widened and potholes removed. The only bright spot was the restaurant and the view of the ocean. Will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is in a wonderful location and the park has a lot to offer. RV sites are average to above average size and have a gorgeous view of the ocean. There's also an on site restaurant with great food. However, the park is in need of maintenance and repairs and therefore made the expensive price tag a little hard to understand. The grass hadn't been mowed in more than 2 weeks. Signs and fencing were in need of repair. Debris was left in some sites. Could be worth the high per night rate if just maintained better. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Despite the horrible bathrooms and showers out in the main campground that we had to drive to, the site right on the water made up for everything. You will not find this anywhere else. We had #117, but most on that side are awesome. Love the goats and pigs. Wish they had Wi-Fi. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great view from the Oceanfront sites, unfortunately our 40 MH with 4 slides wouldn't fit the site assigned to us without driving through the fire pit, and without our neighbors on the driver's side bringing their awning in, and even then, our slides would have been in their site. There are some that looked to be large enough, but they wouldn't swap us with what turned out to be a pop-up, instead letting us find a place for ourselves. There were 2 possible sites, both in a field. The site was level and the utilities on the opposite side. When we started to gear up to leave, one of our jacks had sunk about 6 inches into the ground. If we were in something much smaller, and had an oceanfront site we would probably come back, but not in what we have. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here five nights, on a water front site (301) right next to the restaurant. We thought it was going to be a problem being that close, turned out it wasn't. We woke up every morning to an amazing unobstructed view of the ocean, 50 feet away. The owners play in the little restaurant next door every night from 8 to 11. Pleasant to listen to and the kids could go in. Very interesting place with cliffs and rock structures. We enjoyed it alot, was a bit pricey, but the view is spectacular and makes up for it. We would go back again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Some sites have beautiful views, others are mostly field camping. We stayed in May and the pool was not operational. They have a nice walking trail but the field site was not level. The view of the playground is good but the equipment is dated. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Overall this is a nice park with an excellent view: some would say outstanding. Mineral content in water is fairly high so we drank bottled water. Unknown if power was 30 or 50 amps, it was enough for our 26 ft trailer. Did not appear to have pull through sites. Fairly cold on the water side for May, suspect it would be a gorgeous place in July/Aug. Sea Caves trek is a nice touch. Restaurant was not open in May, but is scheduled to be opened in June. Overall not bad: would have had higher score if more of the amenities had been opened. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
