The manager was quick to get us registered, then he took us to our pull through site. He was friendly and he talked about fishing the lake as well as the Sherbrooke Village. The camp site was pretty level and the water connection was good. We did have an on going power problem with the post circuit breaker continuing to trip. I talked to the manager and he checked it over, then offered us a different power post for our connection. However I didn't have a power cord long enough and I didn't want to move our rig, so we just stayed in our original site. I had to reset the tripped breaker several times, the last time was about 10:30 after we had gone to bed. I am convinced there was a faulty circuit breaker that needed to be replaced. The internal roads were good and wide except the entrance to the park. That road was narrow and one would have to backup if one met another vehicle on that strip of the road. We camped here one night and would have to give a lot of consideration to staying again should we be in the area, because of the power problem. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We had sites about 50 meters from the lake: power and water were very good. The host was friendly. The sites were level and might have been tight if they were full. As it was, we were told we could pull through a double site, which worked well. Enjoyed a wonderful tour at the Sherbooke Village. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a rustic campground operated by a local hunting and fishing club. Several end-to-end sites are right on the lake (our rig is parked 15 feet from the water). Sites are grass, some are in shaded areas, most seem reasonably level. Previous listings show some 50 amp service but the current campground map has 50 crossed out and replaced with 30. Washrooms and showers are rustic, but clean. Lots of water activities are available including swimming and canoe rentals. The park is 5 minutes from Sherbrooke, a small town with two service stations with diesel pumps and a small supermarket. The lakefront site we're in is very nice and we would stay here again if in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This was undoubtedly the worst campground we have ever stayed in. There have not been any improvements here for decades. The picture on their website is totally deceiving. The majority of the pull-through sites were under water. We found a site that was doable, but when we left the motorhome we were attacked by swarms of bugs. A thoroughly awful experience! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice quiet campground located on small lake 5 miles from Sherbrooke. Good 30 amp power and water. Dump station available. Long, wide pull thru sites and a few parallel sites next to the lake shore. Fire rings and picnic tables. Canoe rentals, boat dock, swimming and fishing. We arrived in two 40 ft motorhomes and were told to pick whichever sites we wanted and come back and pay. We had two lovely sites 8 ft from the water. Free Wi-Fi was pretty good at site, but stronger at rec hall. We camped here in a Motorhome.
