Well maintained grounds, and the seasonal guests are friendly and welcoming. These are the only two positives that I can report from our recent trip to Fisherman's Cove. We arrived well in advance of closing time as per the instructions found with our reservation email, only to find the office closed. None of the posted phone numbers resulted in human contact. 3 hours away from home in a thunderstorm, there was no turning back. We camped in a parking lot for the night without any of the services that we paid for. We were charged full rate for that night. The good: Well groomed sites Clean bathrooms The bad: Very high rates Constant nickel & diming. Read the price list carefully before you book. Staff is argumentative and unhelpful LGBT community: read the price list for their definition of 'Family', then decide for yourself if you feel welcome. The advertised hot tub is rarely cleaned No cellular reception Office hours change without warning If you have a pet Rottweiler, Am Staff, or pit bull you aren't welcome here. Coin operated showers are traditionally 25 cents. They are a dollar here, shorter than normal, and cold even in the off season. There are bible passages posted all over the place. The advertised free wifi is only valid at the front office. If you want it at your site, it costs extra per device. The coverage is not complete, and you may not be able to connect from all sites. There are no refunds if you can't connect. There is no cellular reception at all for Rogers & Bell, other providers unverified. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

In considering that we would be passing through the Kincardine area late in the day, my wife and I chose this park based on the description in a major directory. Being a Saturday and thinking good parks would not have any vacancies we decided to call ahead to secure a space. We accepted the only pull-through they had left, a bonus as we wouldn't have to unhook the toad. Upon arrival and checking in we saw we were being charged $54 for the site. A bit pricey but acceptable. However in addition to that they were charging $10 as a reservation fee. Altogether with taxes a total of $71.19. I was informed that the free Wi-Fi was only available at the office building, if I wanted it at my site there would be an extra charge of $5. The lady in the office went through all this without blinking an eye. Anyway because of the time of day and that we were tired we bit the bullet and checking in. On the plus side this park presents itself very well. Located on a spring-fed lake it is picture postcard beautiful. Buildings are all relatively new and spotless. Roadways are paved, sites are huge with concrete patios, hookups all work well and are properly placed. All sorts of activities for both adults and children. The majority of the sites are for seasonal campers (?), which are well kept. However due to their outrageous pricing policies we won't be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.

The most expensive campground in Ontario. It's huge and good for walking around. The so called beach it's a pond with a small corner with sand. They gave us a map for the camp site and off we went. Campsite not level and after heavy rain our site was flooded. We will not go back again! We camped here in a Motorhome.
