Just a note- THIS IS NOT THE CASINO RV PARK in Nevada!Topaz Lake RV park is about 1/2 mile further south on highway 395 in California and a world of difference in the parks! We spent 4 nights at this great campground in space #10. It's a wonderful spot- as are most of the sites! We loved the social atmosphere of this site- everyone stopped by and said hello, chatted about fishing, invited us to game night and gatherings or just petted and spoiled our dog! The only negative comment was that the road noise from 395 was annoying the first night- but when we closed the vents and windows and put our little fan on in the trailer, it was much better. The Lake is fantastic and fishing was great (for everyone else!). We were invited to a yearly BBQ with a group that was wonderful. Very pleasant and helpful. There is a camp store with necessities and RV parts; ice cream, sodas, worms, ice, some food, paper towels and TP, stuff like that. It's on an honor system and you pay when you check out. The RV Park is full of beautiful shade trees and lots of sites with flowers. It's a short walk to the beach and if you bring a boat there is complimentary storage for trailers. The slips are also available at a very reasonable cost($6.50-7.50 a night)The other campers were all very nice and friendly- many have been coming to the camp for 2+ weeks every year for 35 years! They also offer a monthly rate that is very reasonable($440 a month March 1-June 1 and Sept 1- Oct 1 and $510.00 a month for June 1-Sept 1.There is a discount if you pay by check, cash or debit. Well behaved pets are welcomed; there is a quiet time from 10PM-8AM. There are no fire rings. Almost every site has gorgeous views of Topaz Lake. There is a fish cleaning station, showers and bathrooms and a laundry room. The wi-fi was great. The boat launch is free for registered guests - they do offer a visitor launch for $15 a boat. They also have propane if you run out. They have a very strict 2 mph rule in the park since there are so many children and pets in the area. The children and pets were all VERY well behaved!! We were really impressed with the park and the clientele...this lake is a Bald Eagle nesting area, and water fowl sightings were frequent. I loved seeing the graceful flock of pelicans every day! The weather was great- sunny and hot with a light breeze and cool at night for sleeping. We didn't need to use the air at all this trip! We can't wait to go back! We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

When we arrived we were greeted promptly and escorted to our site. We are very new at pulling a 33' travel trailer and were concerned about getting into our site. The escort walked us through backing into a vacant site to turn our rig around so we could back into our site. Believe me, it was well worth any stress we had. Not only did we have the best site on the premises, #37, we got a darn good lesson on backing. Park is clean and has large beautiful shade trees. Lovely setting right on Topaz lake. Park has private boat launch swimming area. Wi-Fi was strong. Would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.

We loved this place, just dropped in and were given a good rate and a beautiful site. Cable was great, wi-fi was good and people were very friendly (lots of them were return visitors). Lake was beautiful, peaceful, and they have a very nice boat docking area; trout fishing was a popular activity and people seemed to be very successful with their catch each. I look forward to going back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
