We stayed here for a stopover night on our way to Tofino. You need to know where the campground is located; there are no signs until you have reached the place. The location is nice, away from any traffic, thus very quiet. Unfortunately the roads (gravel) inside the campground are in bad shape, lot of potholes and washouts. Low hanging branches also. Be careful when driving in or out with a big rig. We are 51' combined and the trailer is 34'. We had a W/E site right below the office and the site was just large enough for the trailer. When checking in the lady wasn't unfriendly but she wasn't very friendly either. Not to eager to host overnighters I assume. Our assigned site was unlevel and was not cleaned up. Food waste all over the place. Garbage in the fire pit. This just added to the impression of rundown and unmaintained we already had from the roads. Hookups were in the far back but OK. We could catch the Wi-Fi from the office, but I guess any further from the office the signal would be to weak. Overall a quiet place for the night but not very appealing due its lack of maintenance. More a place for permanents or seasonals. We would try a different place with a better value for money on our next stop in Port Alberni. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
