This park has recently opened and is going through some growing pains. The entrance and exit roads for the park are steep but manageable. The trees on the streets leading to the park need to be trimmed big time. The entire park is on packed shale and needs to be re-graveled. There are some pot holes but nothing major. Twelve of the fifteen sites back up to Laurel Creek. All sites have full hookups with 20/30/50 amp electric service. The electrical voltage is excellent, hovering around 124. Each site has a picnic table and there are two fire rings at either end of the campground. The campground is located on a quiet street and it was nice to sleep hearing the rushing water. There is no bathroom, showers or Wi-Fi at this campground. The price reflects the weekly rate. Daily rates include the cost of electric but weekly rates do not. This campground is within walking distance to the town of Damascus, the AT and Creeper trails. The cost for staying at this campground is a bit steep but that appears to be the going rate in this town. This park has lots of potential and the owners are doing everything they can to get it right. Our rig is 32 feet long. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
