Nice park, I had a site along the wall so more privacy. Wonderful dog run, nicest and biggest I have seen. My Lucy was quite pleased. Close to Mesilla but not walkable as reported. Easy access to freeways. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Very nice clean park. Very quiet even though trains are nearby. Had cable TV. Swimming pool was really a large spa but it was nice and clean. Close by to Old Town Mesilla. Walmart close by. Did some wine tasting very near the park. The winery also had a restaurant. Lots of good restaurants in the Old Town. Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed here before, but during dryer months. Access off I-10 is a breeze, although current construction makes this much more challenging. Pay attention to highway exit signs. It is easy to miss the exit at night if you don't watch closely for your exit. Currently, the dog run is underwater and unusable. The mosquitoes were out of control! I've never been bitten so much in my life! During the wet season wear repellant! The sites are flat, well manicured, long, wide and the interior roads are easily navigated in a long coach with toad. The staff is very pleasant on the phone (we are never there during business hours). The spa is nice and restrooms clean. There is even trash service at your lot every morning (although we prefer to dispose of our own, immediately). Overall this is one of the nicer parks on our route. We prefer the cooler, dryer times, but that is not always an option. Even with all the rain it isn't too sloppy to stay. We'll be back. Again and again! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Caution - Very high water pressure in this park. I measured in excess of 100 PSI. Use a regulator or suffer possible plumbing damage. They warn you in their literature, but if you don't read it before you hook up, you could have quite a problem. This is a very clean park and it was quiet at night. The sites are some of the most level we've encountered. The lobby and all the facilities are top notch. The person checking us in was very businesslike, just not very outgoing. Please note that there is significant construction near the entrance to the park which can make it quite confusing when you get off the freeway. If you are exiting from west bound I-10, you'll come to a stop sign at the bottom of the ramp, but it's only a two way stop. We had to wait about 5 minutes for traffic to clear enough to make our turn. The park is near the Old Mesilla district, and there are some famous restaurants in the area. La Posta is a Mexican restaurant from 1939. But be prepared for a significant wait. The parking sites are graded gravel. Utilities were as follows: Water Pressure - 105 PSI (VERY HIGH). Electric - 50 amp, Line 1 - 117V, Line 2 113V. I'd stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a convenient park because it is close to the I-10 but you don't hear the highway that much. There was a lot of construction close by and made it a little confusing at the exit. The sites are nice and long and level. There is plenty of space between them. The park is well maintained. The staff is friendly. We will probably stay here again on the way back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Slow time , but several overnighters. We stayed here twice this month while go up and down the state. Always well kept, reliable hook ups and great people in the office. Coffee is available in the office lobby/ kitchen. We always stay here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very friendly office staff. We never had any interaction with other staff. Convenient to Old Mesilla and Las Cruces (although beyond walking distance from Old Mesilla in my opinion). We liked the daily collection and disposal of trash from our site. Water pressure is very high - we measured 100 psi. The notes from the staff mentioned that a pressure reducer/regulator is a must. We stayed for a full week. About half of the days the water had a strong sulfur odor. About half of the days it didn't. The cable TV was poor at our site, but over the air reception from El Paso and Ciudad Juarez was quite good. We will stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was our fourth stay here. Asphalt roads, level sites. I like roads we can bike around on inside the park. Not dusty. Sites well taken care of. One of the rules is not to walk in the empty sites. WiFi good, but there were only about 7 units in the park so it better be. The office staff a little friendlier. Bathrooms great set up. Extremely clean and nice. Even has hair dryers. Nice touch. I did notice that the hand held shower in the handicap shower should probably be replaced. Doesn't work real well. We ran our fan all night so didn't hear the traffic noise like last time. Hot tub too hot for a hot evening. Network channels still fuzzy when we use the cable TV. We have had that issue before at this park. Very nice laundry room and I always appreciate the book exchange. Close to Walmart and the wonderful las Mesilla area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
i cannot say enough about this park! It was beautiful well kept, had many amenities. There was a little highway noise, but not an issue. The staff was excellent! The bathrooms were wonderful with their own little stalls and mirrors. They placed you in spots made for two RVs, because they had room and could, so they did. Very thoughtful. Great experience. Paved roads, pea gravel sites. Excellent place! Price reflects Good Sam. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean gravel and cement pads. Not the friendliest office, but businesslike and efficient. Lots of clean laundry machines. Our only gripe was the narrow showers. If you're claustrophobic, you'll probably need to use the handicapped. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We only spent one night in this park, but were impressed with it. It is a very pretty, clean, well maintained park. Fence, shrubs and flowers were between every two sites. These two sites were side by side pull thrus with RVs facing opposite directions. The park is big rig friendly, but the sites are none too large. Streets are asphalt and sites are gravel and level. The park is convenient to I-10. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed here three times in last fifteen months. Helpful staff. Safe neighborhood. Immaculate grounds. Wide sites with screens/shrubbery between them. Paved interior roads with concrete curbs both sides. Level gravel sites. Full hookups. Good dogwalk area. Large heated hot tub. Clean laundry and restrooms. Private rooms with showers and lavatory. Scenic views of mountains east of city. Convenient access from I-10 (well, it will be again when construction is completed on I-10/Avenida de Mesilla intersection), but, there is some road noise (the only reason for rating a 9 instead of 10). Old Mesilla close enough to walk or ride bicycles to. We would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
As other reviewers have pointed out, this is a very clean park. The showers even had hair dryers - first time I'd seen that! Partial fencing / shrubbery between every two sites did a lot to enhance the privacy feeling. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful and even clarified some restaurant recommendations we received at a New Mexico tourist information stop. Had stayed just down the street but that park is just average compared to this one for just a few more dollars. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent park, Good Sam rate. Very clean, level sites, everything we saw was spotless. We arrived after closing, instruction on how to choose site, complete with associated prices. We stayed overnight, close to I-10 but did not hear the traffic. Will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Didn't stay at this park, wouldn't stay at this park. Arrived in Las Cruces in the early afternoon, planning to stay at Hacienda who I had emailed that morning and was told they had space. Because it is located right next to the I-10, before going into the office and taking up the time of the staff, we wandered down one of the roads to see what the sound level was like in the area with the back-in sites we'd inquired about. On the way back to the office, we walked through one of the numerous empty pull-through sites. There were two staff members behind the counter when we walked in, we said hello and that we were looking for a back-in site for 3-4 days. Before they said hello, we were politely admonished for walking through one of the empty sites, breaking one of the park rules. We were then asked if we had a reservation and, when we said no, told that they didn't think they had a back-in space after two nights because the sites were booked by (with a tone) "people who had made reservations". After being chided for breaking a rule and then for not making a reservation we decided to find a less snooty place to stay. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We always enjoy our stay at this park. It is well managed;. Sites are level and good size for our 40' 4-slide motorhome. A small book exchange is located in the laundry room. The spa is very welcoming as is the gift shop located within the office building. There was a rally group in the park during our stay as well as a tour group from Canada. Still lots of room for everyone else. Park is within walking distance of downtown Old Mesilla. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a beautiful, well maintained park and well deserving of the high marks the Trailer Life Directory gave them. We had an oversize site, which was perfect as we had a second vehicle towing a boat. They provided trash pickup from your site on a daily basis. It was quiet considering the proximity to the interstate. We would definitely recommend this park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Easy to get to from I-10. Nice park. Clean and staff is friendly. Paved road and gravel sites. Will stay again. Price is a bit high but it is clean, safe, and easy to get to. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very well maintained park with helpful, professional staff. Everything is in excellent condition. Side by side hookups, level gravel pads with a fence and hedge separating wide pull through sites. Interior roads are paved and in excellent condition. 5 minutes to shopping. 5 minutes to Mesilla. Wi-Fi worked well. Curbside trash pickup. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great place! There are privacy fences every two spots. Pads are level, clean, and easy access. The laundry was clean with ample washers & dryers. There is a hot tub, but we did not go in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Garbage was picked up daily in front of our camper. There is an awesome dog run area that has motion lights! Lots of room to run. Close to city, but you don't feel like your in the city. We stayed 3 nights and will certainly return! We camped here in a Motorhome.
NOTE: There is currently major road construction between the I-10 exit and the entrance road to the park. When we called for our reservation, they gave us directions for an alternate route that avoided tight turns through construction barrels. Overall, this is a very nice park. Roads, grounds and facilities are well-maintained. Roads are paved and sites are long, level and fine gravel. Most pull-throughs have side-by-side hookups; you may have a close neighbor on your hook-up side but ample space on your patio side with shrubbery and a wooden fence to separate you from the adjacent site. When the park is not full they assign sites so as to avoid side-by-sides. The end sites on each row are wider and the only ones with picnic tables, although in many cases the table is on the hook-up side of the site. Wi-Fi was a bit slow sometimes, but overall pretty good. The clubhouse has very nice lounge and patio areas and hot tub; there is no pool. The location of the park is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and other attractions of Las Cruces and Old Mesilla. It was cold enough to keep our windows closed so the train noise didn’t bother us; might be a nuisance for light sleepers. Our only complaint is that the cable system did not carry ESPN or PBS and many of the channels came in snowy. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an exceptionally nice park. We have stayed here in the past. It has excellent utilities, and the Wi-Fi is much better than it has been in the past (very good, actually!). All the streets are paved with gravel sites, but they usually rake the gravel after a tenant has left. The sites are generous in size. It is close to I-10, but noise is not an issue. Try Nellie's Café in Las Cruces (open only for breakfast and lunch) for the best Mexican food in town and perhaps elsewhere too! We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Extremely impressive. The gold standard for parks of this size -- or any size. Very clean facilities, large bathrooms/showers. Good security. Very close to Old Mesilla, was able to bicycle there in just a few minutes. Very good biking roads around and thru Mesilla and Stahlman pecan orchard. Walking distance to St. Clair winery tasting room and bistro. Office staff cordial, but not particularly friendly. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This very clean well maintained park is very close to I-10. Easy on, easy off. Sites are level gravel. Wi-Fi good. Cable TV good. Staff was very helpful. Close to shopping and attractions. If you like train whistles this place is for you. No pool but a nice hot tub. We would stay here again if we are in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the second time we have stayed here on our way between CA and TX. It's right off the highway and easy to find. Traffic noise isn't too bad. The place is immaculate with large level sites and nice facilities. Good fences and hedges between sites for privacy. Shopping and restaurants nearby. I would give it an 8 if it had a pool. Staff was courteous and helpful. Price is reasonable. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is likely the best place to stay in Las Cruces. With a little effort, it could be a real gem. The wifi is very slow, the cable TV picture is snowy, and there is no pool. Hard to believe a "resort" with such impressive infrastructure and available space does not have a pool. They have a hot tub which, in the summer, they turn the heat down. When it's 95 degrees out, a 98 degree hot tub is not where I want to be. If your stay doesn't require a pool, TV or wi-fi, you'll be very happy here. The resort is well kept, and the sites are roomy and well laid out. It's very easy access off Interstate 10 and reasonably quiet. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Was clean and well manicured however WiFi was impossible to use (it was so slow) and cable was blurry with lots of snow. This is one of the most expensive parks we've stayed in (3 yrs full timing). I would not stay there again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Have stayed here several times but this was the last for a high dollar rv park. The WiFi is a joke and has been for several stays. The desk help don't care so the owner never hears of the problem. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice RV Park with very impressive facilities within a mile of the Mesilla. The sites are beautifully landscaped and quite wide for privacy but no concrete patio. Dog-frien-dly with a very unique long and clean dog run. WiFi was iffy depending on volume of people in the park but everything else was first class. We had a back-in site along a stone wall along entry road but noise was not an issue. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Good off-leash area for dogs. Quiet and well-maintained. Nice hot tub and pool area. Showers clean. Water pressure high. They warn you to use a regulator so we did and had no problems. One block away from RV store for supplies or repairs. Spent one night. Would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Access to the park and through the park is via wide, nicely maintained roads. The park roads and sites are all groomed gravel. Each site is dragged after campers check out. Campers are parked "nose to tail" in level pull through sites with ample room for slide outs. Parking close to one end or the other will leave adequate room for a tow vehicle. The door side of each site has a privacy fence flanked with a Juniper tree, or other planting, but no patio area. There are no picnic tables at each site but there is a beautiful group meeting area at the main building. There are no derelict campers. A long, narrow dog run runs along one wall of the park. There are multiple gates into the dog area and we learned it is best to check that all are shut. One of our dogs enjoyed a nice romp through the park! Cable and WiFi are provided but both were unsatisfactory. There is a hot rub, but no pool. This would be a nice park for groups who, in effect, bring their entertainment with them. The park is located close to historic Mesilla. Although this is a spacious, clean park, I am marking it down for lack of amenities and poor Internet and cable services. We camped here in a Motorhome.
GREAT PARK! This is the second time we stayed here (first review) and both times were great. The park is very clean and well groomed. The interior roads are easily navigated by our 40 foot Class A with toad. The pull-through sites easily accommodated both our rig and tow vehicle without having to disconnect (the tow vehicle is a small Yaris). Restrooms were clean, and the spa felt wonderful after a long day of traveling! Garbage is picked up by staff right at your site, so no need to walk to a distant garbage dumpster. The dog run was long, clean, and completely fenced. It is all small gravel with no grass, but my two girls didn't mind a bit. This is one of the nicer parks we have stayed at in our travels across the country. Office staff was friendly and had our "Welcome" packet available on a table outside the office when we arrived after office hours. The rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We will definitely stay here again when we need a park in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was my first experience using my new Camper at a campground, and boy did it set the bar high in my opinion. The office/guest house is awesome. Staff was fantastic. The sites & grounds keeping are very well maintained, including the whirl pool. Immediately accessible off of I-10 and next door to 2 different RV dealerships. Great sightseeing & restaurants in Mesilla & Las Cruces. The cable TV channel selections were the best of the best. The only negative thing I have to say about this resort is the wi-fi. They don't password protect it & I don't know if it would help but it is painfully slow. I stayed here from December to March. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We've overnighted here several times. Convenient to I-10 with Walmart and restaurants nearby. Sites are large and very nicely landscaped. Restrooms/showers are sparkling clean and the showers are individual private rooms. Very easy to maneuver a big rig on the park's paved roads. Sites are level. Only the end sites have tables. Most sites have side by side hookups but this is in no way a drawback. The dog enclosure is only about 15 feet wide but runs most of the length of the park - lots of room for off leash fun. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We like this park, and this was our third stay. It is super convenient to I-10 as well as shopping and restaurants. Sites are mostly pull through and are nice and wide. They offer longer ones for the longest rigs. Our 40' fits fine in the "normal" sites. Sites are fine packed gravel more like a park path instead of the normal large gravel. The park grooms these after each departure. The clubhouse is over the top, and there is a nice patio off the back. My one complaint is that it's under bathroomed with just one toilet. We will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice campground with long pull through sites and decent privacy between sites. Good WiFi. No issues with water, electric, or sewer. Not really an extended stay kind of place, unless you have things to do in the Las Cruces area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very well maintained. Paved. Convenient. Some freeway noise. Great individual showers. Very, very clean. Didn't offer any info at check in, but pleasant enough when asked. Didn't know about coffee in the morning, but a nice touch. New and nicely furnished common room. For that price, wifi should work better. They don't tell you to put up antennae with the cable TV for network channels. Too windy to put up antennae. When I made reservations, they unnecessarily put us in a large corner premier pull through. There were lots of regular pull throughs we would have fit. Guess we are still learning about making sure I ask all the right questions. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very happy with our stay here. Sites are very clean and spacious. Cost reflects back-in pricing. Pull through pricing is a little costly. Paved roads with pea gravel lots. Professional landscaping made this park easy on the eyes. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location - easy on/off of freeway. Great location to local activities, restaurants and shopping. We stayed here three days and will definitely stay here again if ever in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed here for 3 nights in January. It is an older park, but very well maintained. Most all spots are large pull through. Rigs are parked in opposite directions with hook ups between them. There is a privacy fence between you and the rig on the other side. Very pet friendly. Gave dog biscuit when we registered. Huge fenced dog yard about 300 ft. long by 20 ft wide. Has a nice jacuzzi and the showers were roomy and clean. Same with laundry room. They had wi-fi and cable TV. The cable was a bit fuzzy, but OK. Even though we were parked close to the main building the wi-fi just did not work. Had to go inside to the beautiful living room of the main building to use wi-fi. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A great park. Paved roadways with graveled, level sites. Large dog run. Sites are configured such that your patio is not adjacent to your neighbors utility hookups. There are privacy fences separating the sites. Very easy in and out. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We spent one night in this park en route to Arizona. It was a nice park with gravel pull-through pads. The activity building was nice and clean as were the shower facilities and laundry room. The dog run was nice and long and totally fenced in so the dogs could be let off-leash. Rate paid was the 10% off AARP rate. It was also the highest we paid the whole trip. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
All gravel sites with alternating sites so drivers sides face each other and utilities in-between. On the opposite side bushes and screens separating sites. Sites pretty level a good size. It is a comfortable fit with slides on both sides of our rig. Dog run was one of the best we have seen. They have a board in the office/store with coupons for many local businesses, including a winery and pizzeria almost next door. Short walk for some good to great wines and very nice prices. Wine tasting is free and the pizza was great also. We will stay here again when in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park. All sites are large and level. Very nice staff. Very big rig and pet friendly. Cable was not very good and staff did nothing about it when we (and others) complained. Also, sites share utilities. Good onsite security as well. Would easily stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed at this park multiple times and always enjoy stopping over for the night. Always clean with nice facilities. Our only dislikes are that the pull throughs are all side by side hook up and the regular sites are too short for a big rig towing to stay hooked-up. At check-in we were told they are 59 ft. long which is why we had to pay extra for a premium site. The premium sites are huge but too pricey. Cannot rate the park higher because it is not gated or all pavement. However, this is a nice park and nice costs more. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice enough park but we do not care for the shared post where one RV parks going one way and the other parks going the opposite way. Fortunately they were not busy so we didn't have close neighbors. The cable was very snowy and out sewer hook up was tough to use. The good parts were the sites were level and the rest of the hookups were good. Easy on and off the freeway and not too noisy and the people were friendly. We would stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very attractive, well-laid out park with superior common areas. Sites are level stone dust with landscaping. Wi-Fi was very good, office staff very friendly and capable. Pull throughs are side-by-sides. We chose a back in at the front of the park. Narrow for motorhome slides and car side by side. Generous fenced in dog park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
First used this park in my 38 ft motorhome in 2008 and now in my 45 ft motorhome. This time I had a super site. You will be side by side, but site is long and plenty wide. Just a very nice and well set up park. They used to have breakfast also but did not see it this time. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an above-average park in terms of appearance. The roads are paved; the sites are packed small-stone gravel and are raked whenever someone leaves. The large, level, pull-through sites are arranged so alternating coaches enter from opposite directions and there is landscaping and fencing between you and the next rig. The place is well-maintained and clean; garbage is picked up at your site each day. The college kids at the front desk were very friendly. I would have given it a higher grade if the price wasn't so high. There is no way this is worth $44/night. There is highway noise, although it isn't too bad if your windows are closed. The Wi-Fi was slow compared to the Verizon 4G I was able to receive. There is a hot tub, but no pool. In reality, it is a very nice place for an overnight or couple of day stop and it is heads and shoulders above the appearance of some of the other parks in Las Cruces. However, in my opinion, trying to make this seem like it is a destination resort is stretching things a bit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park would be getting a higher rating except for a few bothersome things. Thing one is that there have been several yappy dogs for hours making our overnight $44 stay a real drag, and there is nobody to tell. Just an answering machine. That and the fact that the cable is fuzzy on the channels I wanted to watch and clear on all the others. Need that to be fixed. It's a good clean place to spend the night or to visit the area, but they need to clean up the noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean and well maintained park. Receptionist was informative as well as accommodating. Location is easy access from I-10. We had a need to restock and found the Walmart and other stores very close to the park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Attractive, well maintained, very clean park, not a lot of shade, some highway noise. Excellent dog run/park. Immaculate bathrooms, showers and laundry facilities. Weak Internet and cable signal. Ask at the front desk to have the air-conditioning turned on in the exercise room. No pool but there is a hot tub. We've stayed there many times and will again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Excellent, well maintained facility. Sites wide and level with small gravel covering. Staff are efficient and kind. Reason for 9 instead of 10 is the I-10 road noise. Will return. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Rate includes taxes and winter rate. Easy on/off freeway, but little traffic noise. Great sites with privacy fences, tiny gravel that they smooth out with a grade (so you can't walk or drive on any other site for any reason), level, no shade but plantings and some grass for pet walk and an enclosed pet walk. Had an emergency with our truck and Ford was right around the corner, so had to stay 2 nights. Don't miss Mesilla, a village only a mile south that is so old it used to be the capitol of NM and AZ and Billy the Kid was tried and hung there! Great close sightseeing/shopping/eating experience (La Posta Restaurant) and we couldn't have been marooned in a better park in the area!! Helpful morning staff. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What a great place. A true oasis in the middle of the dessert. This park has all the amenities you would find at a high end resort. Beautiful setting, friendly staff, and clean, clean, clean. The rate reflects the summer rate which ends August 31st. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a beautiful park, all paved, level sites, good Wi-Fi and cable TV, and nicely landscaped The staff was friendly and helpful. The 'office' is large with meeting rooms, an assortment of local spices and packaged foods, cookbooks with local recipes and Mexican woven bags. It is convenient to the historic old town and several wine tasting establishments. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Even though this was a short overnight stay for us, the people were very nice on the phone as we were driving when I called for availability. The resort is very clean and well kept. I think we would have enjoyed staying here longer. It was close to a lot of places for food, etc. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
We just stayed for a overnight on way through NM. This place is clean head to toe, the restrooms, showers, RV sites, etc., everything is spotless. The sites are level and well kept. Only small knock is that the internet is a little slow, but certainly works fine. We would definitely stay here again. Anyone who would give this place less than a 7 is someone just being a hater. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Though we arrived five hours before the posted check-in time, the front desk clerk was very gracious and did not hesitate to send us to our site immediately. The sites were easily accessible for large rigs, with raked gravel sites and privacy fences. Because this is not their busy season, we were able to relax in the privacy of the outdoor whirlpool while enjoying the spectacular sunset. The exercise room was also noteworthy in that all the pieces of equipment really worked. A very pet-friendly environment, our dog was handed a welcome packet upon check-in. The dog run was really big and well-maintained, as was the rest of the facility. With discount coupons and other local information readily available in the office area, this park enhanced our too-short visit in charming Las Cruces. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We've stayed here twice. It is located directly off I-10 and near the Old City of Mesilla where some of the best restaurants and festivals are. The campground had paved roads and was well laid out, very level, and groomed pull through sites. All utilities including cable were super. We didn't ask about a pool but noted a hot tub. The showers were private with locking doors and immaculate. We paid a higher than normal rate to come here. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed here before in the past but we have tried to get to avoid this park that charges too much for what they offer. Problems developed that we had to overnight here. Internet was terrible. Cable was also in bad shape. Also no breakfast anymore! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park close to all that Las Cruces has to offer, including Old Mesilla. Quick and efficient check-in; escort to site. Staff was friendly and helpful. Utilities are in a good location and worked well. Sites are a little close together. Sites are pea gravel (raked as soon as someone departs) and level. Entire park is beautifully maintained. Will definitely stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We liked this campground. Staff was friendly and sites easy to pull into with plenty of room. It was a very windy day so it was good to put the 5th wheel to bed. I would recommend this campground to all travelers. We used this as a stop over on our way to San Antonio. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Rate is Good Sam. This is a top flight park just off I-10 and convenient to restaurants and shopping. Walmart is very closely as are other stores. The staff are great and there is a huge lounge area and patio that is more like a modern hotel than an RV Park. Sites are good sized and will accommodate a big rig and tow, in most cases. Wi-Fi worked well as did the cable TV. Bathrooms and laundry were also quite nice. We will definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Well organized park with little or no ambiance. Pricy for the area and offerings. Wi-Fi is pretty slow and the cable was fuzzy . No grass or shade. OK for a couple of nights. Near Old Mesilla and good restaurants. Tax is thrown in on their advertised rates. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have stayed at this RV park many times. It is the nicest park in Las Cruces, but it is also the most expensive. You used to get a free breakfast with the price, but not anymore. The sites are all level and full hookup including cable. The clubhouse is very nice and that is where all of the facilities are. The clean restrooms are well stocked with soap and paper towel. The clean laundry room is also very nice. Very convenient access to WalMart for your shopping. The reasons I gave this park an 8 rating is because I tested the water with a water quality TDS tester and it came up with a number of 355, which is not harmful but rather high. I have never tested it in our past stays, so maybe the city of Las Cruces just has terrible water. The other reason I rated it an 8 is because the price keeps getting higher and now the breakfast is gone so it is getting hard to justify the price. Don't get me wrong the facilities are a 10 rating and they do a great job of maintaining things. We will most probably stay here again in the future because we come this way in the winter months. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Clean park, close to the interstate. Easy on easy off. But for the price with gravel sites, really. I've stayed in much nicer parks for half the price. The park was 3/4 empty, maybe because of the time of year, don't know. Nice office area, check in help could use a course on greeting and friendliness. Been here before several years ago and it really hasn't changed much. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean, very nice park. Way too expensive for what you get. I have stayed here many times and the only thing that changes is the price, and it always goes up with no new services. I'll save a bit and stay elsewhere in the future. I also notice it is less crowded on each visit so they may be pricing themselves out of the market in today's economy. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We've stayed here many times over the years and have always rated the park highly, but each visit results in higher rates and less service. Our rate reflects the Good Sam discount and $5 coupon, otherwise expect to pay $44 plus tax for a pull through site. On check-in the younger of the two office staff was not just indifferent, but went out of her way to be rude. The free breakfast has been discontinued. Sites are level gravel, some with shrubbery dividers, and have no table. Free cable TV worked well but the free Wi-Fi was very slow. Verizon cell and 3G Aircard worked well. Convenient to I-10, but so close that vehicle noise is a distraction throughout the night. A nice facility, but increasing rates, declining services, and an indifferent staff have resulted in our decision to bypass this park in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very well maintained c/g, with far away views of the mountains, paved roads, level pull through sites, side to side hookups. Enclosed pet run and walking area. Large and spotless bathrooms, large and well equipped laundry, beautiful clubhouse, Wal-Mart and other big stores nearby along with great local restaurants and lots of sightseeing. Along with all these conveniences comes the inevitable noise from the freeway which is pretty much 24/7, there is also noise from the train. We would not stay here again for an extended period, however, if we were passing through, we would stay overnight, it is certainly very handy for on and off the freeway. Wi-Fi is poor but cell is good. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We've stayed at this resort a number of times when passing through Las Cruces. The staff is great and the facilities are spotless and well maintained. Sites are a small pea-gravel that you find in many desert states. Roads are wide and easy to negotiate. We're a 45' quad-slide coach towing a Jeep. We choose sites 176, 178 & 180 because they are very long and wide pull-throughs. These particular sites are a little more expensive and we like them because they are angled so you don't get the west sun: which can be very uncomfortable depending on the time of year. Never been here when the wind didn't blow hard at least for a day or so. When it does you'll get dusty and will find it gets inside the RV no matter how tight you button things up. But that's what happens in the desert. There's close I-10 access and the sleepy little historic town of Mesilla is almost next door. It's a delightful place to visit. We highly recommend this RV Resort when in Las Cruces. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Great grounds, spaces divided by trees; beautiful hot tub area; Friday night Margaritas on the patio; very clean private room showers and nice (but small laundry room). Stayed with 5 dogs and had a nice area for dogs. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great location, clean park, big rig friendly. This place is very, very nice. Have stayed here before and will do so again. No "Park Model" houses on the location: thank God. Lots of high end RVers here, not a lot of junk. Close to good restaurants and I -10. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We always stay here when in Las Cruces. We are on the first night of a two week trip to the Texas coast. The park got the wi-fi working since our last visit in March. Still a great place to stay! We camped here in a Motorhome.
I usually choose my parks by the reviews on this site, which is what I did for this park. I agree with others comments on the park in general, however, the fees previous reviewers paid just one and two months earlier were significantly cheaper than what I was charged (even with my 10% GS discount). I would expect higher rates would be charged during the snowbird months which usually begin in October, but it's 90 degrees here. Very disappointed to pay this much for a one-night stay at this time of year. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Clean, safe. Some of the best restrooms and showers anywhere. Large spaces. kept exceptionally clean. Hot tub is really nice. Near I-10, so road noise is an issue. Bring ear plugs if you sleep with windows open. Will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed at Hacienda in our 5th wheel for an overnight. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a long pull thru that allowed us to keep our truck hooked up. The park was close to the freeway, which for us was a plus. There were only a couple other rigs there (very hot) so we had the site to ourselves. There was no shade. The sites were not huge-you basically share the utility area with the RV next to you and then there is a space. The park had amazing facilities as far as bathrooms, laundry, work out room and even a large spa. Everything was very clean and well cared for. We enjoyed our short stay and would definitely return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have been here before and enjoy this Park. Easy in and out from freeway, streets are wide, spaces are easy in and out. Wi-Fi worked great. Dog run area is nice. Very friendly staff and the site is kept in nice condition. The Clubhouse and Patio are very nice. The only negative would be the spa, which is need of some attention. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I love traveling in the southwest at this time of year because all the campgrounds have lots of room, and Hacienda was no exception. They even have a summer rate which helped. We had an end-of-row pull thru site that was nice and wide with a nice picnic area. The interior sites are shared utilities with bushes separating each pair of sites. The dog run is outstanding! It appears to be several hundred yards long and the large dogs must love being off leash and just being able to run from one end to the other. A nice touch is trash pickup at your site so you don't have to go hunting for dumpsters. In the summer with the a/c going, you don't hear much from I-10 that passes right by the campground. One word of caution, though. Mapquest directions said the turn onto Stern Street was about 3/10 of a mile from where you exit I-10. Actually, it's right at the end of the tree-divided highway. We missed it and had to make a U-turn further up the road. Nice campground; didn't use any of the facilities so can't report on them. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I was all excited to stay here after reading some of the reviews already posted but, I have to say I was disappointed. NO shade anywhere, the sewer we hooked up to had a foul odor, and the young lady at the front desk must have been really burned out on RVers. She was no help at all and charged me $2 more than the rate I was quoted on the phone. I felt it was way overpriced for what you got although it was nice to have cable TV and the Wi-Fi worked well. I will not stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Immaculate. Sparkling. This is one of the cleanest parks we have ever stayed in. The wide, huge entry leads to a nice big office, lounge, store, laundry, restrooms, showers, etc. All the roads are blacktop. Every 2 sites are separated by a fence, trees and thick shrubs. Each site is long, or wide enough for vehicle parking next to the RV. The gravel is raked after every departure. Any noise from the interstate did not bother us. We liked being within walking distance of wonderful Mesilla restaurants and shops. Wifi was excellent and cell signal was strong. We would like to stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nicely laid out park, bushes and a fence separate each site. Concrete pads and patios. Within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. Would stay here again. Has friendly, helpful staff. We camped here in a Motorhome.
In previous years/previous visits we would always come away thinking a "9" or even a "10". However, this time they squeak by with a "5". Much of the time we were wiping the gravel dust off prior to entering our RV. Additionally, we were placed right next to a motorhome and I do mean right next to...I'm not exaggerating when I say we could reach out the window and touch next door. Be-that-as-it-may...we like Las Cruces, and Hacienda...we just won't be so quick to stay here when traveling thru. We camped here in a Motorhome.
"Free Wifi" has not been working for 2 months and they don't know when it is going to be fixed. Cable TV reception is very poor. Sites are graveled and dust tracks everywhere. Spa area appears unkept. They seem to worry more about raking the gravel in the sights after people leave than repairing the internet or cable. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Wonderful 4 day stay. Staff helpful and friendly. Showers, restrooms, laundry all top notch. Close to shopping and cultural sites. My only issue for such a nice park was the sites were covered with small stones that produced a chalk like powder. This left a lot of footprints and dust in the fifth wheel. We will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have stayed here several times over the past few years and have always liked it. Still do, but have noticed several cost cutting measures (no free breakfast or newspaper anymore, Wi-Fi still not working) but still a very nice place to stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Lots of good things. When we arrived they said that the free Wi-Fi was down but no reduction in their charges. The sites have some sort of dusty pebbles that collect on you dogs. Otherwise a very nice campground. Would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
When we last stayed here in 2007 we gave them a 9... this time we only gave a 6. Breakfast, that was provided last visit, was no longer offered. Cable TV reception was very poor... staff said that they would check it, but that did not happen. Wi-Fi has been down for 3 weeks... oh well! Central facilities are very attractive but don't seem to get much use. Next stay in Las Cruces will be somewhere else. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We stayed two nights. Very nice park but to close to I-10 so there was noise all night long. WiFi was not working. We thought the price was a bit high because of the noise and no WiFi. We parked close to a street light that we did not see when we parked, so had to cover the window. I do not think we will stay here again. It is a very nice park but too close to the freeway. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Massively expensive parking lot, I agree with some of the other reviewers. Yes, the sites are big and the services are solid but this is just too much to pay for a gravel lot one block from the interstate. No pool. While we were here the WiFi did not work. Not the friendliest front office. Dog run was difficult for my older dog: you have to walk down a series of steps, again everything is gravel, no grass. Would we stop here again? Doubtful, only if there was nowhere else around. We passed a park on the north side of town that we might check-out next time. It was farther away from I-10. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a very nice park by our standards, and the only place to stay in Las Cruces. Other parks in the area pale by comparison. The spaces vary in size (and price), and the pull-through we had, which was not the most expensive, was plenty big enough in both width and depth, for our coach and toad. All the roads are paved and the spaces are covered with fine gravel which the staff keeps raked. There is a very nice fenced (off-lead) dog run. The main building is well kept, as are the bathrooms, showers, and laundry facility. Nice place all round; however, calling it a "resort" is definitely an overstatement. There were no activities that we saw other than a modest Friday night margarita party, and no pool (jacuzzi only: and it was closed). Our only complaint was that there was no internet access for 7 of the 9 days we were here. The staff seemed to be clueless as to the cause and as to when it would be up again. They did post a sign saying it would be up on Monday, but we naively didn't ask for the week, month, or year! It was still not up when we left on Thursday, and management was unwilling to make any price concession (discount) for this lack of advertised amenity. But even without internet service, it is still the best place to say in Las Cruces. Easy access to and from I-10. Our nightly rate reflects the weekly discount of 7th night free. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is excellent, large level big rig friendly sites. Close to Old Mesilla and good restaurants, easy to drive in and almost all pull through. This park is new, it is clean, it is well built and it is well located. Staff is friendly and eager to help. We will stay here anytime in we come through this area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Large pull throughs, and some back-ins that are less expensive. Great deal if you stay 6 nights (not even on the same trip), you get 7th night free. You can walk to the old town Mesilla plaza and there is good shopping nearby for groceries and other supplies. Fenced dog walk area, good laundry, clean bathrooms and showers. Is it a destination resort - no, but it's one of the best stop over locations we found traveling across I-10. It is definitely on our list as a stop over for our next cross country trip. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Easy off/on I-10. Paved roads and level gravel sites that have a hedge between every other site. Good Wi-Fi, water pressure and voltage. Black water had to flow uphill. Easy to get around. Clean, modern facilities and grounds. This park is on our return list. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Well kept RV park. Workers were friendly. Sites afford some privacy with a thin line of bushes between. Park clean and well cared for although in my book a bit pricey. Wi-Fi and cable excellent. The dog walk area is nice - gated, fenced with lights that go on as you pass by at night and stay on for a substantial amount of time. I would stay here again, but believe it's a bit over priced. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
As usual we enjoyed our stay at Hacienda. We are not sure if we like the trade off of lower rates with no breakfast and paper. We enjoyed the breakfast and paper and talking with the other campers. It is a tough call on which is most important--saving money in nightly rate, or saving money on breakfast and paper. Maybe this should not have been an "either/or" question--what if they did like other parks and just provide the cheap pre-packaged pastries and a couple of papers? That way people still gather and visit, but the park saves money and can lower the rates. Just a thought. As usual we enjoyed the area (La Mesilla), and even ran into Laura Bush who was shopping there at the same time we were. The discount program with merchants is great, and the wi-fi worked very well. We'll be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Strong winds on I-10 force us to find an RV spot in Las Cruces. Following signs from the interstate we ended up at this "Resort." There is a very large and very hot spa with powerful jets. Other then the spa I was unable to locate another amenity to justify the "Resort" label. This RV Park has a top rated appearance with wide paved access roads and an attractive landscape. It appears the pull-throughs are long enough to accommodate big rigs and there are some extra long sites. The fine gravel sites are level. I did not need to extend the leveling jacks since our site was so level. There is twin parking on a site with side by side utilities. The sites are spacious unless another RV parks opposite and adjacent on the same site. The cable TV and WiFi worked exceptional well. There is not much to do here except take a dip in a spa. The exercise room has a few lightweight dumb bells. The book exchange is low on books. It would have been nice to do laundry. Except the place is in the process of replacing the washers and dryers. It would seem to be a one-day job and yet it looks like the appliances have been missing for awhile. We stayed here one night to be safe from the wind. The over priced rate reflects a Good Sam discount. We will not stay here again unless there is a decrease in overnight rates. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed at this park every time we travel across I-10, about twice per year. The price is higher than others but nice costs more. Beautiful facilities, level pull throughs, great location. The only reason it is not a 10 is because the sites are gravel and not concrete. We will continue to stay here again and again and highly recommend this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We spent 3 nights at this RV Park. This is the nicest RV park we have ever stayed at and we would highly recommend it for anyone considering a stay in Las Cruses. Our dog got critically ill the first day there and the staff was extremely helpful to us in getting our dog quickly into a local veterinary clinic. The staff came to our site a couple of times each day to inquire how our dog was doing. The entire park was maintained in pristine condition, and all facilities were equally maintained. We used the laundry facilities which were very clean and sufficiently air conditioned during our stay. The park is beautifully landscaped, and the landscaping provides for great privacy between sites. The park is also very conveniently located to the quaint historic area as well as conveniently located to shopping. The location is a decent part of town and also provided for easy access to the interstates. We would highly recommend this park to others. We have absolutely no complaints with our stay, and we certainly will stay at this park anytime we pass through this area in the future. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is supposed to be the "best RV Resort in NM" and we were looking forward to coming here. The clubhouse building is beautiful and the sites look very nice with landscaping and wooden barriers. The extra long pull-throughs are extra long (and more expensive) but they are buddy sites with your neighbor only the utility posts away. In a virtually empty park did they put someone next to us? Of course they did. The exercise equipment and laundry room are inadequate and not air-conditioned because they are "saving money". Management didn't feel the need to warn us that ants were prevalent and "are normal for this time of year" until they were running all over inside our coach. The sites are gravel so we didn't spot them in time. How long will we have to battle the ants is still unknown. We left early. We will not return to this park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here based on glowing reviews from this site and it was an immaculately kept park, that's for certain. However, it is very well lit and located between two highways and a train track so if you're looking for a nice dark, quiet place to sleep this might not be it for you. If you're just trying to overnight somewhere good and clean, you'll love this place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Absolutely beautiful park. Very well kept, lots are good size and you have the lovely mountains in the distance. There are trees and shrubs so you feel like you have a little privacy. We would definitely stay here again. The only negatives I have are, as one other reviewer noted, no pool and the one fitness room was very hot and the one piece of equipment I wanted to use was out of order. It is near the freeway, but that didn't bother us at all. If you can get a spot that faces the mountains, it's gorgeous. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If this place had a pool I would have given it a 10+. This park was great. I won't repeat all the great things that the others have said but the sites are level, and large beyond belief. Has great electrical, water, sewer and a nice clubhouse. Here are the cons. How on earth can a RV resort this large and this nice NOT have a pool when the average summer temperature is well over 100. There is not one lick of shade anywhere in this park. Yes there is greenery but only small shrubs. Since each of the sites is on gravel (which is smoothed out after you exit), the gravel serves as a giant heat reflector up into your trailer. I have two large A/C units and could not keep up well at all. Easy on and off of I-10. Plenty to do, eat and see within a mile. Wal-Mart right across the interstate (I can see it from here at the site). Two giant RV dealers border the RV park. Nice 24 hour clubhouse with all the amenities. My question though is that we were here for a solid week and never saw more than 7 other RV's in this place at once. I mean its that empty: each RV literally had its on row. I have no idea where everyone else is staying but if this place had a pool I would have given it a 10+. The check in staff was excellent. The spots are so big I parked my truck beside my 5th wheel with slides out and awning out and still have plenty of room. You could park two Class A's side by side in each spot they are that big. Minus the pool, this is the nicest park I have stayed in in a long time. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This super clean park is quiet in the summertime, but then the rates drop. Our hard packed gravel site was level, clean, and very wide. Pick a site that faces N/E due to the afternoon sun. Golf is several miles away and start early in the day. The area of Old Mesilla, and the White Sands Missile area are worthwhile. If you ride motorcycles, the Harley shop is across the street. You can wash your coach which was a added bonus. We will be back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We loved this park! The sites were level and large which is a big deal because we're quite new to RVing. The surface was a real fine red pebble which is dragged (like a baseball diamond) after someone leaves. It also had a wonderful, fenced dog walk/run which our Golden Retriever enjoyed. Las Cruces was a destination; this was the second time we'd been here and really like the area. Don't recall that there was a lot of noise in spite of being very close to the freeway. The office/store was beautiful and immaculate! We will be back to the area and will stay here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a great RV park. Close to Interstate 10 and shops /restaurants. The facilities are excellent with large private sites and the whole place is very clean. The only negative comment we could make is that they have a large hot tub and no swimming pool. With a swimming pool this would definitely be a 10/10. We will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice resort with wide roads and spaces. Nice tall hedges between most sites. All sites were neat as a pin. When one traveler leaves they drag the site before the next one comes. Fast and friendly check-in. The park itself is quiet and relaxed but we did hear a lot of highway noise at night. I was woken up by Jake brakes on the interstate a couple times over the night and then a train at 6 in the morning. That would be my only complaint about the Hacienda in addition to not having a real pool. We stayed here overnight while passing through. We camped here in a Motorhome.
No pool, just a spa, not a big deal. Very nice resort with everything else you could want. Just passing through this time but would sure come back. Cookies and a free paper on check in, friendly staff, lots of info, beautiful hedged-in sites and great Wi-Fi. Near the freeway, but the noise was only noticable late evening, not bad. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This resort provided excellent accommodations and customer service. They have a very clean park, full hookups, cable TV and WiFi on site. Easy on and off of I-10. A continental breakfast is provided each morning. We would definitely stay here again. A+++ We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is one of the best run and maintained park we have stayed in. Nice large sites, wide paved roads so it is easy in and out. Personnel couldn't have been nicer. Newspaper and breakfast every morning. Since the park was not super busy when we were here, they parked rigs in every other site, which gave us plenty of privacy and room. Pet friendly, nice large fenced dog run and plenty of green grass to walk the dogs on. Just remember to pick up. We have stayed here before and will be back again. Starting June 1st rates go down to $30 a night for the summer. What a great deal for such a lovely park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice fancy RV resort style park. A little fancy and expensive for the general area. Our site was spic and span as one might expect with this level of park. We stayed one night and enjoyed some of what they had to offer, including the morning breakfast and newspaper. WiFi wasn't working on either of our laptops, and the two office ladies had no clue or offered any solutions. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Why is it in a park that is only about 1/4 full that they park people in every site rather than leaving a site open between? This is a very nice, but overpriced park and we decided to splurge and stay here on the last day of our 3 week journey. Whoever is assigning spaces just put huge Class A motorhomes next to us on each side. The rest of the park is empty. We can't even see out our side windows. We won't stay here again for any reason! We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very nice park in a great location and lots of "perks" (breakfast, discounts at local merchants and restaurants, cookies, etc.). The dividers are nice and provide privacy. While the hookups are side-by-side, they seem to keep the site next to you open as much as possible. The Wi-Fi worked well (no problems). We camped here in a Motorhome.
This park is very nice. The sites are large and we really like the foliage separating sites on the entry side. However, the back side (hook-up) is very close to your neighbor. The meeting rooms are a good size with plenty of tables and chairs. The breakfast is mundane: english muffins and bagels, cereals. The real downside to this park is the location. It is very close to Interstate 10 and the noise is constant at night with truck traffic. Yes, there are train whistles, too, but those weren't nearly as disturbing to us as the interstate noise was. Some may not find this as annoying as we did. We live in a very quiet community without city noises. And the only view we had was of the Interstate. The park is a little expensive. We have stayed at nicer parks for less. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed in the other 2 parks in town, and this is by far the best. In fact, it was one of the best parks we've ever stayed in. Spotless, beautiful club house. Dog walk was terrific. Larger breeds can actually run! It's narrow, but the walk borders one of the boundary walls of park. A bit expensive, but we were there during the snowbird season. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice, upscale resort, not a campground. The roads are paved, the sites are pea gravel and everything is neat and clean. The check-in staff person was very business-like; the escort was friendly. We were in a pull-thru site (the rigs alternate in direction) and there was a barrier (fence/trellis, bushes and other foliage) between us and our curb-side neighbor which gave some privacy. Our neighbor on the street-side was up close and personal. We never opened a window or a shade on that side. To recycle, we were told we could take our things to Wal-Mart. For all three mornings, the free breakfast offered nothing hot except for what we toasted. There are several different ways you can pay less than their normal nightly rate which totals close to $50; a simpler rate structure might be easier for everyone. We had a coupon letting us buy two nights and get the third night free so we paid not quite $100 for three nights. We would stay here again but not at their normal rate. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was our second visit this winter. The first time was a one night stop and the next was for 3 nights. We had no trouble with the pull-through site and did not have to disconnect our toad from our 38 foot MH. I would have rated the park a 10 if it were not for the side by side hook-ups which at this rate, I feel are a real negative. The highway noise did not bother us, but there is train noise and especially during the night the repeated whistle blowing did wake me a couple of nights. The park caters to groups and was almost full when we arrived the second time so we were glad we'd made a reservation. They give you a card and when you have stayed 6 nights the 7th night is free. They do give you lots of little perks like the free breakfast, free newspaper, cookies and treats for your pets which other parks at this rate do not. They clean the sites after you depart and the entire park is very clean. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a great place to pamper yourself after a long day on the road. It is expensive but worth the value and includes a continental breakfast. It is close to I-10 so when making your reservation ask for a site away from the highway. If you don't mind backing in, the best sites are at the back of the park and look over Old Mesilla. They advertise walking to Old Town but it is a " Long Mile " one way. Take the car as there is lots of parking. If you want to save $18 the Siesta RV Park is actually down the same road about 1/4 mile and further off the freeway. It doesn't get very good reviews but when we drove by it to Old Town and it looked decent. Hacienda is a wonderful park that makes RV travel great. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This park is located right next to Interstate 10 and is noisy. However if you ask the staff to place you toward the back of the park, I'm sure it would be much better. It is a very tidy park, big rig friendly and although we asked for a pull through, it was not long enough for our 38' rig with the toad attached and therefore had to disconnect for our one night stay. They escort you to your site and overall, the staff were friendly, although failed to mention the noise factor and place us in a better spot. They have a very comfortable lobby and serve a continental breakfast in the morning between 7:30 - 10 am. The hot tub looked nice, but we did not use it. The gym is full of used older equipment so not too encouraged to go in to use it. The laundry was clean and bright and charged $1.25 for both washers and dryers. Overall, the park is aesthetically pleasing and the sites are freshly raked gravel and quite level. We believe the price for this park is too high and so probably would not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
While we still think this is a very nice place to stay, we are disappointed their rates have gone up so much. Many parks of this caliber are still in the $35-40 range, but even so we will most likely stay here again. They escort you to your site. Their roads are paved, but the sites are small pea gravel. (They rake them after each use.) There are no tables or grills. The sites are side by side, but this has never been a problem for us. The door side of the sites has a privacy fence. The cable TV is good with lots of channels, but the Wi-Fi is slow. The individual showers are very nice and clean. I’m pretty sure they accept children, but the atmosphere is definitely more adult oriented. There is an enclosed dog run. Many restaurants are nearby, and Old Town Mesilla is just down the street. The continental breakfast, the Margaritas on Friday night, and chocolate chip cookies are a nice touch which we have enjoyed. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Right off I-10, this is an excellent choice for a quick relaxing stop. 24 hours security even though not gated is provided in this new RV Resort. Free continental breakfast is provided as well as a very warm lobby with a fireplace and courteous staff. Site is graveled, good clean hook ups. Very close to Old Mesilla restaurants and shopping, not sure I can consider walking distance, 5-6 blocks, may be a little too dark to adventure in a winter night. We ate a great little Mexican food called El Comedor. Food was decent. Definitely will stop there again when traveling. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Beautiful, magnificent, beautifully furnished office/clubhouse/laundry/bathrooms/patio/hot tub all spotless clean and new. Free light breakfast, afternoon cookies and coffee/tea, magarita parties on Friday afternoons, wonderful staff. Sites are on the close side with privacy landscaping on one side, all pebble sites so dust is common. Excellent location. Great for a few days, but price is a bit high which probably limits longer term stays. Good cable but wifi is not good throughout park (and for the price it should be.) We always stop here for a few days and wish the monthly price were more reasonable because we would be happy to stay for 2-3 months. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A very nice port to find in the teeth of a nasty, early winter storm. Great signage and easy access from 1-10. We were greated warmly by the office staff, then led to a level, clean, sufficiently long and wide enough, pull-through site. Park looks brand new with no fuss, 50amp, full hook-ups. No problems with cell phone or air-card reception. New, spotless bath, shower and laundry rooms. Sure made it easy to extend our stay to enjoy a bit of New Mexico hospitality! We camped here in a Motorhome.
As the other reviews state, this is a top notch RV park that caters to RV'rs who come in off the interstate and spend a night or two. The price of $49 per night is somewhat steep, in my opinion. They offer a !0% discount on the daily rate for FMCA etc. but there is a 12% tax so nothing is gained. If you stay 6 nights, the 7th is free. Some pluses are the free continental breakfast and a free USA Today. One big minus is the small gravel surface in all the sites which gets easily carried into the RV. Concrete pads should be the norm for the price paid. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We asked for a large pull through site so we would not have to unhook. The campground was very nice, but a little pricey for just an overnight stay. It was close to I 10 for easy off and on, but not sure I would stay again because of price. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Very nice park. Laundry is spotless. Private Shower/restroom areas and spotless. Professionally run park. Cleanest and neatest park we have stayed at. Employees are friendly. Sites are quite private with shrubs/trees in between. Gravel on cement sites, level. This is the second time we have stayed here but the price has risen quite a bit in two years. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a park that we stop at every year. It is very clean. The staff was very friendly & helpful. The sites are gravel & wide enough for any size coach & number of slides. All interior roads are paved. The Wi-Fi did not work the day we were there & believe a park that charges this much should have usable Wi-Fi. We also feel the park needs to place a table at each site. We like the park, but the fee, which has been rising for a few years now places this park in the overpriced category. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Price is based on GS rate. This is a very nice park. Watch the water pressure as it is 85+ psi. Better have a Watts whole house regulator. Hot tub was spotless, hot and had great jets! With all the good things this park has to offer it clearly is overpriced. Laundry is beautiful. It's apparent this park is professionally run. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
What a great park! We were pleasantly surprised and thoroughly enjoyed this park. Everyone was friendly (employees and guests) and the facilities were top notch. Cement pads and a little more room would have earned a 10. The breakfast was very good and historic Mesilla was a lot of fun to visit. We will definitely be back to this park each time we come through (we are already changing some plans to spend more time here). We camped here in a Motorhome.
Way over priced for a night stay. We should have read the reviews before stopping. Same as above post, we were only given a Good Sam discount price, full price not printed on receipt. It's the old consumer beware. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We have stayed in this park at least 10 times in the past 8 year and nothing has changed except the rate. We were assigned a backed that wasn't long enough for our coach and had to move. The Wi-Fi wasn't the best it should be for paying $50 a night! We have looked at other parks in Las Cruces and will probably stay at one of them being they are $10 to $22 a night cheaper. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stayed here for 4 nights with a rally group. Could not have been treated better. Very friendly staff. Park is clean and each site is "manicured" after it is vacated. Have stayed here several times before with the same satisfied result. We would definitely return here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We like the campground but can't give it a 9 or 10 due to the following things. No concrete pads --everything is pea gravel. No picnic tables or patio type furniture. The hot tub is nice but it has no pool. We stay often and will do so again but we don't rank it in the top of the class. We felt like the price was a little high for what you get. We have stayed many times and it seems the price has gone up but no improvements have been made to the facility. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We cannot say enough about the staff at this park. These folks are hands down the friendliest and most accommodating staff we have ever stayed with. We were treated with respect and like adults. Outstanding! The facilities for the RVs were wide and offered privacy. The common areas were excellent and amazing with sitting areas, fire places, water features, etc. We will absolutely be returning for another visit! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Nice park, but not worth the price. Stayed at many other parks that were nicer at less cost. Not sure what the base price was, but were told it included a discount, it was not listed on the receipt. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a top quality RV Resort with just about all you need. Very nice continental breakfast each morning. Bath house was very clean, now you ask why a rating of 8? DO NOT make advance reservations in advance as they will put you in the sites far away from activity center and showers. We were in a Class B motorhome and asked to be moved in a site closer to showers and restroom and were told it would cost another $10.00 per night. With 113 sites they had 65% vacant on a holiday weekend, does this tell you something? We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a nice park, but not worth $50/night. When we stayed here two years ago, the rate was $27.50. There is no pool just a spa with a 8 person limit. The WI-FI worked great. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Clean park with space available in excess of 70ft. The park is very handy next to I-10 and I-25. Road signs pointing to the RV park would help in getting finding the park but a close study of a road map will make getting around easy. The park serves a continental breakfast every morning. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a Great Park, very clean and taken care of. Office and meeting rooms are nicer then some high end hotels. Breakfast in the morning; showers are private with doors that again are like a hotel. Grounds are very nice and the best dog walk area I have ever seen. Close to I-10 but I had no noise. We walked to Cracker Barrel. We spent one night there the same time the last review was there and the staff treated us like we were the only ones there. We will be back. Nothing to not give a good review on. We camped here in a Motorhome.
An excellent campground. We attended a rally here with approximately 35 rigs. The staff is very friendly and took extra steps to make us feel welcome and accommodate our needs. The park itself is immaculate and all sites are well groomed. It is easily accessible and close to many area activities and sites. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is without a doubt the nicest place we have been to as of yet. It is a beautifully landscaped and clean resort. The restrooms and showers were perfectly clean. The unique pet walk area even had lights with motion sensors for night time walks. TV and WIFI worked real well. Price included a full hotel style continental breakfast. It is very easy access to the interstate and is great for overnight or longer term. We will definitely come back here in the future. We camped here in a Motorhome.
First the good. Park is very clean and staff is first rate. There is a great little gift store and they serve you a continental breakfast in the lobby each morning. Now the not so good. Park has no pool and the therapy pool they advertise is nothing more than a large hot tub. The weight room is the size of a walk-in closet with nothing more than some outdated exercise bikes and an ab-lounge. Bottom line, this is a great stop over park in Las Cruces but it charges you a destination park price, and this is not a destination park by any stretch. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We stay at this park any time that we are in Las Cruces and always enjoy it. It is one of the best kept parks in New Mexico. I will have to say that this time we were rather shocked on how expensive it was and this was with a Good Sam discount. $50! This was not a premium site either. It seemed way more expensive than the last time we were here , less than a year ago. I believe we paid approximately $35 for our last visit. This was very close to what some of the other area parks charged so we always chose Hacienda because it is a great park. We really don't take advantage of the social activities, hot tub, etc. because we are here on business or tourism. I will have to say that we are going to check other RV parks (Sunny Acres) next time we are here because we think $50 is a little high for a place to basically park your RV and sleep. Especially in light that they don't even have tables and chairs at the regular sites to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather and landscaping. Again, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the park; we are going to check out others because they are $15 less a night and are more of a no-frills park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a beautiful modern RV park. Check-in was like checking in to a first class hotel. Everything is clean and well maintained. Our pull-through site was extra long, and there are hedged partitions between the sites. The pet walk area is fenced, and has many trees. Our lab enjoyed running off leash, getting exercise and doing what dogs do. Though close to the freeway we didn't hear loud traffic noise. We stayed two nights here. It is a good choice when you're in Las Cruces. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Weekly rate=$34/night. My 1st 10 given to a park. This place is very very nice! Each spot has tall plants between rigs so it's like you have your own patio with privacy. Nice dog run. Rigs park back-to-front so the neighbors sewer hose isn't next to your table. Oh yeah - bring a table if you need one. Many parks do not have one for every spot. The hot tub is huge and most importantly - hot! Nice exercise room. We stayed in a regular pull-through which is plenty wide enough for us. We extended our stay here because of the area and the park amenities. Don't forget the continental breakfast every morning! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Best pet walk ever! Spotless park, the spots are gravel and groomed between each guest. Great morning breakfast, hotel style. Maybe a little tight, but we had a deluxe end spot. We will be back again next time we are in Las Cruces. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Superbly clean and very friendly staff. They even pick up your garbage every day for you. The sites were very clean and level also and offered continental breakfasts. Will definitely go back! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very neat and clean park, one of the nicest we have ever found. Very tight spaces, mostly side-by side which means your entry door faces your neighbor's, but most sites have a buffer fence/plantings as a partial screen. You can actually touch your neighbor's coach from your window on the opposite side if you both park close to the utility connection point. We expected much more in a wi-fi system which was one of the worst we have encountered in the last 18 months. It is free, but so weak that we could not connect often as they have only a single antenna for the entire park. I much prefer a commercial [pay] service than a free one that is not usable. This park is not worth the high cost in my opinion. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Park is very accessible from Interstate 10. Very little noise from the freeway. Breakfast is included. Free Wi-Fi. Paved roads with gravel sites that are raked after each visit. Staff is top notch. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of the nicest, cleanest, most beautiful parks we've ever been in. Why can't more parks be like this one? The Wi-fi is free and very fast, the dog walk is long and great for active dogs, and the clubhouse is "gorgeous" as my wife says. We'll absolutely be back. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
An excellent park though for the high cost I would have expected better Wi-Fi. Although parked only two rows away from the antenna, I could not connect and had to carry laptop to the office building. The restrooms are excellent though the functional division is rather strange--five showers but only one toilet in the male section. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
I agree with the other reviewers, this place is great. It's close to the interstate so there is some road noise but not enough to keep me away. I'll stay here again when traveling. Nice desk staff, escorted to our site with raked gravel. "Maggies" on Friday night, CC cookies when we checked in, breakfast in the AM, really nice long dog run. As they say in California, "I'll be back". We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the best campground I have ever stayed in! Top notch in every respect. Extremely pleasant and well staffed front desk, escort to your site, clean well landscaped sites, dog walk area, large jucuzzi, WiFi, breakfast, margarita night on Fridays, cookies at the desk ... the list goes on. In spite of the price it is worth it. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Wowee. From the concierge to the complimentary breakfast and newspaper, we felt as if we were staying in a hotel. Gravel sites are perfectly groomed (which does feel a little weird; we are, after all, state park campground fans) and the staff is most helpful. We were just overnighting, but lots of folks here for the winter. This would be a great place for a group. Outdoor fireplace/seating area. Nicest laundry (combo library) facility I've ever seen. Shower rooms were pristine. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very clean park. A little more than we like to pay. The staff was very helpful. Gravel sites we had a very large pull thru and we were escorted to our site. It was nice to get up and have breakfast waiting. It has a great pet walking area. We stayed one night and would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Super clean park. Friendly staff who escort you to your gravel site which is raked after you leave. They also offer a free light breakfast which was nicely done. Exceptionally nice, very long, well lighted dog run. Free wifi which was running about 1200kb download and my Verizon wireless card was running about 900kb. Both speeds were fine for surfing, checking email, etc. Would definitely return. Also, 2 RV dealerships within one block which both had nice parts stores. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice, large sites, long dog run. We were on a private site on the end with privacy. Complimentary breakfast is a plus. Would stay here again if in the area. Would have gave it a 10 if there had been a pool. Resort is very clean, they rake the gravel when you leave. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The staff is very helpful and will make sure you have everything you need during your stay. They escort you to your site and continue the five star treatment with complimentary breakfast, hot sauce and chips, cookies, margarita night on Friday and extraordinary lobby and patio. The laundry and hot tub are top notch and only negative is lack of swimming pool in the desert environment. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We had a great time here. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The reception area looks like a hotel and the outside space is well maintained with iron chairs/tables and fireplace. There is no pool but the hot tub is very large and my 2 girls felt like it was a "small pool". We had an end site which was large, private and had a patio set. The price also includes a breakfast bar which was a great added bonus. We had a fun visit to Old Mesilla the land of "Billy the Kid" and had a great dinner at La Posta (you get a lot of food!!!) We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Nice park. The sites were very well maintained and the staff was very friendly. We had a late check in and all the paperwork was there and ready for us when we arrived. Free breakfast, USA Today, and fresh baked cookies were a nice touch. Our price was for 2 adults and 2 children. We would stay here again but the park really is set up for an older crowd. We are not saying that they are not family friendly they just do not have the amenities for children. The addition of a pool would be nice as it was over 100 while we were there. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Hacienda RV is a very nice park with xeriscaped gravel sites that are well cared for. We would prefer to see the sites covered in a larger gravel or rock so that the small gravel does not get in your shoes and follow you into your rv. The facilities very nice but was missing a pool. That would have been a great addition to the 105 degree summer weather. They offer very nice private shower rooms. It was overpriced for the off-season. Rate was for 4 adults. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Perfect place, we stayed for a one nighter on the way back to Texas. Everything was extremely well kept on our stay. Bathrooms and showers were beyond hotel room quality clean. Showers have great water flow, and private, like at a hotel. Nice hotub and workout room. There's a little wire divider fence between sites with vines and shurbs growing for privacy, nice touch. Plenty of places to eat, we ventured out to a little Italian bistro for the night. I would stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This nicely groomed park had side by side sites with small bushes in between. We had an end site which was a little better in terms of seeing a view other than the next camper. Absolutely no wi-fi. No patio furniture provided. Continental breakfast provided, no convenience store. We were looking for a resort for winter but this would be only short term for us. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Easy in and out and very clean. Found it quiet and a great overnighter or maybe longer. Don't remember seeing any stuff for children. It is next to an RV dealer. Free continental breakfast in the AM. Wi-Fi worked in coach. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is the way all or most RV parks could and should be. The reception area is beautiful. They lead you to your site. Most are pull thru's. The sites are gravel but are wide and clean. We had site 150 which was ideal if you have a pet. There are several grassy areas near by. They also have a long dog run that is gravel. All the streets are paved. This campground serves breakfast each morning like many hotel/motels. We stayed two nights and I would highly recommend this campground. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Excellent park. Very quiet and very well maintained. We stayed here with a Samoyed (medium sized dog), and she was very welcome. They have a very long enclosed dog run at the back of the park which she enjoyed very much. They also had a Margarita night with excellent Margaritas. In addition, they can put you in touch with a detailing service that comes to your unit and cleans it and your tow vehicle. They did an excellent job. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
My husband and I came to Hacienda RV Resort primarily for an overnight stay. It is convenient to the I10, and we were on our way to Santa Fe. We were very pleasantly surprised. There is Freeway noise near in the front area, but we were in the back and were not bothered by it. The park is very clean and it is nice to be escorted to your site. The side by side parking was not a problem since your coach does not face the same direction as your neighbor. The dog walk is large and clean. We loved the breakfast every day as it meant no dirty pots or pans in the RV. The dining area was very nice and clean. It is small, but if there are several patrons eating at the same time, there is an overflow room that is also used for rally gatherings. Breakfast is included in the price of your stay. The lobby was very beautifully decorated and pleasant to sit in and relax by the fireplace and listen to music. There is also a fireplace and more seating in an outside patio. There is no pool, but there is a jacuzzi. The folks in the office were exceptionally pleasant and helpful. They offer a complimentary newspaper every day along with chocolate chip cookies and a Salsa sampler. They also host a "Margarita Night" every Friday evening, also complimentary. We stayed here in a 40ft Motorhome and will definitely stay here again should our travels bring us down the I10 again. We also enjoyed the nearby historic and quaint town of Mesilla which is only about 2 miles from the Resort. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a very nice park with all the conveniences. We were escorted to our site after a pretty quick check-in. The only reason this did not get a 10 is because many of the sites are side by side. However, they are wide enough slides from both coaches can be out and there is still room enough to walk. They are gravel with only the end ones having any grass. There are no tables or pads. The laundry room, restrooms, showers and exercise room are all locked and require a key card to get in. Everything is very clean. The dog run is enclosed and long. Although we don't have a dog with us, it looks like a nice one. The Internet connected quickly, but was slow at times loading pages. It is close to attractions in the area. Following their directions made it a little difficult to get from the far right lane off the Interstate to the far left lane immediately. After that, there was no problem. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
It’s been our experience that when motor coaches dominate the park, you’re not likely to be disappointed. Most diesel pushers are retired full timers and know the best places to stay, this was no exception. Paved streets, with curbs and lighting, and perfectly level pea gravel sites. What impressed me most is that as each guest left, their site was raked out as though it were an infield at a ball park. I wouldn’t recommend this place to family campers, but as an old geezer, it’s a five star. Our three day stay included St. Patrick’s Day. In their lounge, we enjoyed an excellent $ 6.00, all you can eat, corn beef and cabbage dinner, met some nice folks, and added this to our top ten campgrounds. We camped here in a Motorhome.
I would rate this CG 10, except it did not have picnic tables or a pool. The continental breakfast and the fancy reception area (like middle level motels) were nice, but not needed. The CG also should invest in better signage. The vinyl “Hacienda RV Park" sign nailed to the side of the building was very tacky. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a lovely, clean campground. Sites are well maintained. Vegetation and divider help privacy. Very convenient to I-10 and Las Cruces attractions. WiFi is spotty, may have to go to clubhouse. Included breakfast is great and provides a chance to meet people. Close to several RV dealers if you need service. Would definitely stay here again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a nice place. The rates vary on the type of site. A previous poster indicated a much higher rate. That was for a premium, oversized lot. The "regular" lots are very large and I don't see the need for the larger ones. We had a real problem this visit. A couple of water connections inside the coach ruptured. When going to the office to inquire about the water pressure, the staff was very rude and said that the pressure was high and that we should have used a regulator. We said that they should have told the customer prior to hooking up, they did not care. Just repeated that regulators should be used. The low rating is because of the rudeness of the staff. There is a really nice, continental breakfast. This is a convenient stop for us, but considering the rudeness, I don't know that we will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of the nicest parks we have seen! We ended up staying several extra nights. There are a lot of attractions in the area and this is a good place to stay while sightseeing. The club house was just beautiful and even in February it was nice to eat breakfast on the patio. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A top notch RV resort. Sites are separated by a nice landscaped fence. The showers are all individual and very clean. Go on a Friday for the Margarita party! Easy access from the highway with minimal noise from it. I will return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
With so many previous reviews there is not much left to add. It’s all been said. The park was immaculate, and the side by side hook ups did not bother us. The individual men’s and ladies’ bathrooms are nice. We were glad the Wi-Fi is now free (I think we had to pay for it the last time we were there), and it was strong and fast. The park is just down the street from Old Mesilla which is a great area to browse, shop, and eat. There are numerous restaurants and a Super Wal-Mart near by. This is a great place, and we will stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very good park for visiting the sites around Las Cruces. Nightly rate is high but when you consider it includes WiFi, cable, a continental breakfast every morning & a Friday night marguarita fest, it is reasonable. Hydro-Therapy Spa but no swimming pool. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
A very nice park in a convenient location. The park is somewhat overpriced but nice amenities. Free breakfast, free newspaper and privacy spots. Inner roads paved. The free WI-Fi is somewhat slow but no other complaints. Our favorite park in Las Cruces. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We full time and stay in a lot of parks. This is one of the top 5 we have stayed in. Eat at La Posta in Mesilla. Good Mexican food and great atmosphere. We will be staying here everytime we pass through. This place is a 10. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good wide entrance to campground with designated area to park and register. Office staff friendly and very efficient. Superb landscape resort with magnificent club house(no pool). Escort to site. Wide paved access roads. Pull-thrus wide and flat but designed back to back. Privacy fence/landscaping, no picnic table or grass. Ends of roads sites have gravel areas with table. Excellent dog run. Some interstate noise. Free continental breakfast. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is turning out to be one of our favorite campgrounds off I-10. They have a friendly staff who will escort you to your site and help you get hooked up. We had a long pull-thru where we could keep our tow connected. Breakfast served in the mornings. Laundry had lots of machines and was very clean. Staff was very helpful with suggestions for places to eat and things to see in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We parked here 2 nights in January of 2008. Extremely friendly staff, easy access to I-10, and close to La Mesilla shopping/dining area, Wal Mart, and grocery store. Packed gravel sites were level, very clean and freshly swept after each departure. We were guided to our site by an escort upon check-in. Free breakfast was provided in clubhouse each morning. Our only complaint was that the hose connections were frozen due to temps in the mid-teens. We could not fill up with fresh water on the day of departure. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The rate reflects the weekly rate with tax for a large pull thru site. Very nice park--super patio and lodge good hot tub, good WiFi, cable TV, very nice laundry, and clean restrooms. Nice breakfast. The sites are cleaned every time someone checkout. Only comments we can offer on the negative side are the pea gravel sites, some concrete patios would be in order for a resort of this kind. Not much for kids if you are taking kids along, no playground no picnic tables, no pool but a lot of other upscale offerings. We stayed a week and enjoyed the resort, we would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were very fortunate to wind up here after deciding that paying a premium just for a view was not worth it someplace else. Very impressive from lobby & staff service to manicured sites. The only disappointment was the lack of a picnic table. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have stayed here many times. This is the best urban RV park in NM and one of the nicest ones we have stayed in our years of RVing. I wish that Albuquerque and Santa Fe each had an RV park of this caliber. Friendly, easy check-in, nice sites, great dog run. Beautiful clubhouse. Staff are constantly working to maintain the park. There are a lot of amenities. I will definitely return and whole-heartedly recommend this RV park to others. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We've always enjoyed staying here; however, at $40 a night at the discount rate I'm not sure it's worth it. A great place, with free WiFi and continental breakfast, but also with a great deal of I-10 road noise and sites without picnic tables or shade. By the handout included with your receipt, it looks like they're trying to lease sites and become more of a snowbird destination. Next time we're in the area we'll probably go elsewhere for an overnight stay. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park. You are escorted to a cleanly swept site with convenient hook-ups. Staff good and helpful. The main office rivals a 4-star hotel. Part was built in 2001 so everything was basically new. Good paved interior roads. You are parked in an alternate (front/rear) pattern with hook-ups in the center of the 2-space area, so your door opens unto a concrete pad with table and nice landscaping. This is a classy park. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Stayed here 2 nights, very clean and excellent customer service, I know good customer service when I see it and this place was very professional and helpful! Free cable tv with every channel except Premium (HBO) - enough to keep you changing channels. Convenient to RV Services, Sunland RV Service was just a block away and we used them to troubleshoot and repair our 5th Wheel. A+++ RV Park We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
We have been here several times, but this time we had a problem. We made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and had our mail sent here. When we arrived at our set time we were told that we did not have a reservation and our reservation that we made had been cancelled. We were able to get a site but not an extra long one and our mail was sent back to our mailing address. We never cancelled but whoever took our reservation must have put down the wrong dates. Otherwise this park is very clean and has a great staff. We will think about our next visit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a great park. The office folks are very helpful. The sites are long, but not real wide. Only thing I would add is a picnic table at the site. Nice spa, good continental breakfast every morning, included. Also wireless was included and had a very strong connection at the RV site. All sites were small gravel. Raked after each coach leaves. They take very good care of this facility and it shows. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We were very impressed by this park. The club house had the showers, laundry, a spa, pool, fitness room, gift shop, and kitchen for breakfast. Loved the free breakfast and newspaper. Liked how it is arranged with two sites per spot with privacy dividers on each side. Liked the plants that they had on the dividers. Since it was not full, they put only one camper between the dividers. I really liked the dog walk. It is very large and fenced so you can let your dog run free. We stayed here in a 32' trailer. Stayed here Sunday of Labor Day and again the following Sunday. Will stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
Great Park! We stayed here twice on our cross country journey - first night out and then last night out (returning to Phoenix). Easy to get to off the I-10. Sites are some of the best we have seen - very level and the connections seem newer. We arrived late both times, but had called ahead for reservations (seemingly not needed this time of year as both times the park was not very full) and we had a packet waiting for us with directions to the site. Only complaint (if you want to call it one) is that they did not have the full breakfast or newspapers their site said they would have. It was explained to me that was because it is the "off season" for the park. No big deal, we just made sure we had breakfast stuff the second time we stayed here. Highly recommend the place. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Enjoyed a very nice Memorial Day weekend at Hacienda. Resort is very well kept with paved streets and gravel spots. Excellent dog run. No pool but very nice spa. Wi-Fi is now free and worked very well for us. Office indicated they had a new antenna up and it was working much better than before. 113 sites but only 25 picnic tables. If you really need one they will move one over for you if available. Rate of $24 is not a Passport America rate as indicated by a previous report, it is the summer rate because the free breakfast, newspaper, and the Friday night Margarita parties are not available during the off season. Very close to Old Town (Mesilla). As a side note, I would highly recommend La Posta for an excellent meal at a reasonable price. Found it to be better than Double Eagle and much easier on the wallet. Close to I-10 so try to get a spot in the back section by the dog run. End spots are also most desirable: we were in 156 and it accommodated our 40 foot MH and truck with no problems. Will definitely revisit. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is now a Passport America park (the rate reflects it) though they are quiet about it. I was in the lobby on two occasions when others were checking in and the staff listed memberships they accepted but failed to mention PA. In visiting with other RVers WiFi was good only from the first row. A very nice park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very Nice RV park and excellent location. From here we drove out to White Sands National Park during the day and then to the Mesilla district for some New Mexican dining. It has all the amenities one could want on a two-week long trip, including laundry facilities. You can even get your rig washed on site by one of their contractors. We'll definitely return if in the area. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice park. Helpful and friendly managers. Very well maintained, quiet and clean. They offer free breakfast which they call Continental breakfast every morning. Never saw such a variety free in previous parks. They also provide USA Today free to residents. They offer wifi which is one of our requisites while traveling. Spent a week there and would definitely stay again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
In a word -- the park is very nice. Almost resort quality (missing a pool; had hot tub only). Great little club house, complimentary breakfast was perfunctory, polite staff, clean facilities, paved streets, and even some dog runs. BUT -- the wierd gravel sites are dusty when dry and muddy when wet -- almost just dirt really. We think they could have done better to have graveled the sites with smooth, pebble, river gravel that is much kinder, cleaner, and drains very well. Otherwise, we liked the park ("Resort" is stretching it a bit) and would return for overnights of a day or two at most. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is our second visit to this park. It is outstanding and so enjoyable. I don't think it is too expensive. I have paid a lot more for a park of a much lower standard. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating and escort you to your site. Sites are very nice, roomy, level, landscaped, and big-rig friendly. There are many amenities such as a free continental breakfast, daily newspaper, daily curbside trash pickup, etc. The park is very well kept and the staff are always out there keeping it clean. Great dog walk and convenient location. There is some noise from the freeway but it is not overbearing. The WiFi was $3.95 per day but worked very well. The only reason I did not give the park a 10 is that most of the sites are side-by-side hookups so you are close to your neighbor on one side (but high, privacy fence on the other side) and there are no picnic tables but I would give it a 9.5. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very nice park even though it is flat and the sites are gravel. The roads are paved and some small trees and some bushes dividing some of the spaces. There's a very nice dog run. They have a free breakfast in the mornings in their very nice office/gathering area. We stayed here twice on our trip across the US and would stay there again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Outstanding park! Complementary breakfast, and looooong pull through, easily accommodating our 65' of motorhome and trailer. Staff was very friendly. We had to take our motorhome next door to the RV dealer for an oil change and service and wanted to go to White Sands for the day. They allowed us to leave our trailer on the site until 5pm (usual late check-out is 3pm). We saved 50% off the regular rate w/ CampClub USA. We would absolutely stay here again if we come through Las Cruces. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Visited park in 40' motorhome. Park is very clean & modern. Beautifully landscaped and big rig friendly. Park will accommodate any size coach with any number of slides. Most sites pull through that are long enough to keep towed vehicle hooked up. All roads are paved and sites are gravel and wide. Staff was friendly and listed spa as an amenity. When we went to use the spa it was closed for repair. They provide free newspaper and delicious breakfast bar. Grounds are kept like a nice hotel. We felt that the park needs a pool to make it a true resort. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very clean, well organized, friendly resort. Great staff, with personal escort to site, homemade chocolate chip cookies, USA Today, continental breakfast, hot tub, and level sites. As an aside, if you need help with your rig go next door to Sunland RV; came to my assistance in the middle of a storm. Can't say enough nice things about Sunland! We camped here in a Motorhome.
Okay, so this is clearly the finest RV park in the greater Las Cruces area but it does not deserve the highest grade. The park is clean and well appointed and the clubhouse rivals those of the finest resorts anywhere. Sites are roomy and adjoining sites are opposed so you never see your neighbor's sanitation connections. But the park is right alongside I-10 with no buffers so the sound of traffic is constant. The sites are gravel instead of concrete with no patios and no picnic tables. There is no swimming pool, cable reception is poor and free wi-fi is not offered. After a long day's journey in the New Mexico heat, a swim in the pool would be nice. There's no excuse for weak cable reception and wi-fi is just as important as water and electric to today's RVer; it should be included in your rental fees. So yes, this is a beautiful resort and you wont be disappointed staying here but I reserve a "ten" rating for parks that are truly deserving. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This was a very nice park. They had a free USA Today, cookies, and a breakfast bar in the morning. The dog run was nice enough - better than most we have used. The reason I did not give them a 10 is that the WiFi was a little expensive, and I think WiFi is like the pool, dog run, or lounge/TV area and should be part of the free amenities at an upscale park. The people were very nice and helpful. While here - if you like Mexican food - go to La Posta in Old Mesilla to eat. We camped here in a Motorhome.
A gem of a place, with friendly people, helpful staff, great location, clean, etc. Our dog loved the little "run" area, and we found the walk around the park nice too. They even have fresh chocolate chip cookies in the office (all day). A place to head for on our next trip. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The only reason I did not give this RV park a 10 is that I think the sites could have included a picnic table and a little more landscaping but this is the desert. Between every two sites is a privacy fence with bushes and vines. Every two sites are side-by-side hookup sites which means that you are very near your neighbor. There are deluxe separate hookups for each sites and the sites are very clean, well kept, and large. The dog walk was the best. The staff were very courteous and helpful. You were escourted to your site. The clubhouse was very nicely done. There were many thoughtful amenities such as breakfast, a large whirlpool, workout rooms, a very nice sitting area with large screen TV, etc. This would be a great place to spend an extended stay. The park was suited for large rigs and very thoughtfully designed. There were reasonable park rules but you did not feel that you were being scrutinized or in a Nazi camp. The park is very conveniently located to shopping, Walmart, Historic La Mesilla, and near RV service shops if you needed work done on your rig. This was one of the nicest maintained parks that I have ever frequented especially for New Mexico and will definitely recommend it and will return. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a very well maintained RV park that is very convenient to I-10 and I-25. Access is very easy due to the wide access roads. It is very close to a large shopping area (Wal-Mart, grocery store, restaurants, bank, etc.) and only about a mile from historic Mesilla and its beautiful plaza, cafes, and shops. It is also very close to the NMSU campus. The interior roads are very wide with curbs. All sites are gravel and are clean and raked after each camper leaves. The perimeter sites are back-ins with privacy fences/foliage between them. The pull-throughs are back-to-back with privacy fences/foliage between them. The office/clubhouse is beautiful with a spa, patio and outdoor fireplace. The showers and laundry rooms are spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful with one of the owner/operators on site. They have a hotel style complimentary breakfast and newspaper each morning. A Margarita Party each Friday night is a great way to meet other RVers. The Wi-Fi is Coach Connect and worked great. We would definitely stay here again! We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is a wonderful place. Free breakfast, contiental style each morning, wonderful staff, Friday night free Margarita night. The best bath house I have seen, so clean and roomy. Will stay there again. The manager said they had received several request for a pool and they are thinking about that. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Beautiful park! Had the largest pull-thru I have ever seen. Can't say much for their WiFi provider (Coach Connect). Not as user friendly as others and about twice as expensive. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This campground presents like an upscale resort. The roads are all paved, the sites are fine gravel that is neatly groomed after each guest's departure and they are arranged head to toe (or back to back) so that you are not facing anyone's hook-ups. In addition, there are fences between every two sites with shrubs and small bushes to help insure privacy. They offer a variety of "perks" like complimentary daily (M-F) USA Today, complimentary breakfast that includes coffee, juice, cereal, toast, waffles, fruit, home-made muffins, hard boiled eggs, etc. , and every Friday night, there is a complimentary Margarita Party with appropriate snacks. In addition, they offer a hot tub, an exercise room, a very nice laundry room, a comfortable lounge and meeting rooms. Finally, the front desk staff, that seem to consist of several local college students, are very, very friendly and helpful with all your questions and requests for assistance. On the down side is the management headed up by a woman who rarely smiles, walks around with her head in the air, and seems to be a control freak on a power trip. Two work-camper couples that were very nice left early while we were there. One couple was terminated because of a negative encounter with management, the other couple quit! The assistant manager is sometimes friendly, but seems moody and often fails to follow through on things even when he says he will. The sites, although neat, are dusty when the weather is dry and soft when the weather is wet. The dog walk also gets muddy after each rain and, because it's a storm run-off, it will also fill with several inches of water after a heavy rain. If you like camp fires, they are not allowed. If you like picnic tables, you need to request one and there are only a few to go around. They do not have a pool but will refer you to a competitor if you have your heart set on one. We would probably go back, but they do have some things to work on, especially management's interaction with both guests and staff! We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is a 'luxury or resort' type park. Very nice and clean park. Pet area also very clean. Beautiful office, and Club House. Big plus: clean exercise room spotless laundry. Close to freeway but not noisy. Super Wal Mart very close. Staff very helpful and friendly. Spa looked inviting but it was snowing! We did not go into the restrooms. They have complementary Breakfast Bar and USA Today Newspaper every morning. Complimentary Margaritas Every Friday Night! 5:30 PM to 7:00PM. WiFi is provided by Coach Connect Net @ 1.99/hour, 3.99/day, 29.99/month. Good directions on website, but does not state street address, which is 740 Stern Drive, Las Crusas, NM 88005. GPS coordinates are: N 32 17.184, W 106 47.470. Stayed here Christmas 2004. Check their website for more information. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We spent a month here and really enjoyed it. They have a great pet walk area, exercise room, large
hot tub/spa. The staff is terrific and the sites are very clean and level. The sites are mostly side by side but they are large enough and have a lattice and plant divider between you and your neighbor. This is an excellent facility. the only reason I did not rate 10 is because of the proximity to the highway. There is some road noise, but we will go back everytime we are in the area. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Outstanding in every way. Gorgeous office/clubhouse in traditional adobe Southwestern
style, all new, beautifully furnished. Wifi. Numerous lovely sitting areas indoor and outdoor. The cleanest and best and most thoughtful laundry facilities we have ever seen. Very nice screening between sites, spotless grounds, paved and manicured gravel. The owners really deserve kudos for an outstanding RV park. We stayed here for a week. Wonderful Old Mesilla essentially next door. Across interstate from Super Wal-Mart. Right off of I-10. Our site had a magnificent view of the Organ Mountains. Many other RV parks around, but nothing to compare with this one. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice "adult" type park just off of I-10 in Las Cruces, NM. Absolutely NO trees,
though that is a plus for me with my motor home. No landscaping around sites, which are gravel with no picnic table. Again, this is a first-class "adult" type park for nice motor homes and 5th wheels. Easy "Big Rig" access and outs. Very good overnight stay in this area. I would stay again. Stayed here in Oct. '04 with 42' motor home and towed car. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This truly an outstanding park. As soon as someone pulls out, the crew is there with a
rake smoothing out the gravel. It is very cleal and convenient and people are very nice. I would have given it a 10 other than for the per minute local phone charge. C'mon, give us a break: This is nothing but a nuisance charge and demeans an otherwise fine RV park. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is one of the nicest RV resorts we have ever stayed in. Has a privacy fence separating the sites. Breakfast was included in the price. Extra nice employees. Even had a detail person to wash the MH and car if you wanted. Stayed here on the way home
from the balloon festival in 2003. We camped here in a Motorhome.
No patios, no picnic tables, no shade, phone service is 10 cents per minute after 20 minutes, and no grass. Nice park but it lacks several things that would make it a great park. It is right on the Interstate with the appropriate road noise. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Very nice level gravel sites. Ample space on the sites for all lengths and toads. Continental breakfast with newspaper each morning. Friendly helpful staff. Clean restrooms, showers, laundry etc. There will be a Camping World right down the road March 2003. We camped here in a Motorhome.
New park, very nice. One word of warning. On site phones are set up for "first 20 minutes free, 10 cents a minute thereafter." Internet users are able to avoid charges only by logging on and off at 20 minute intervals. We camped here in a camper.
