We enjoyed this campground very much, and chose to pay for 2 adjoining campsites in an area by themselves overlooking the ocean so we could enjoy the solitude. We thought it was well worth the cost given the beauty of the area. The rate for one campsite would be half the amount we listed. The owners are very friendly, and even brought us the freshest mussels we'd ever had for dinner one night. Restrooms are older, but meticulously cleaned. Spaces may be a little close together, depending on which ones you get. We'd definitely return here if we travel to Nova Scotia again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice location with some ocean access. The RV sites are all grassed and have a very unique arrangement. It was fine when we were there, but if all their seasonals were present it could be very crowded. The tent sites were strung along a road past the dock and seemed to be laid out as an after thought. The owners are great hosts and offer boat tours of the area and free coffee in the common area. The sites are only water and power, and the dump is off site. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
This is a truly awful campground. Although they advertise 30 amp service, those 30 amps are "shared" with the RV parked next to you. Don't plan to run AC in this place. On top of that, (a) the water supply failed while we were there, leaving everyone w/out water except for what was in their tanks, and (b) the sewer system backed up so that toliets could not be flushed in the rest rooms (which are very old and not very clean). When we complained about the service, we were told to leave. So much for Canadian hospitality!! This is a place to avoid at all costs. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
