Rate reflects PA discount for 1 night on a 3 night stay. As stated in other reviews, this is very nice campground with a friendly owner and host. No credit cards at all but there are 2 banks nearby with ATMs. We found the WiFi good, cable nice, and the park quiet yet very close to restaurants / groceries / banks and a good place to use as a base to explore Annapolis Royal, Digby and the South Shore. We camped here in a Motorhome.
This is an over 55 park right in the delightful town of Bridgetown. Easy short walk to groceries, a nice pub, plus a walking trail right behind the park and accessible directly from the park. Lots to see in this area of the valley. Very pleasant stay, and we would come again. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice little park with well kept, primarily seasonal sites that are occupied every weekend. Big Rig friendly. The owner let us use another site to park the tow vehicle in. There is a lengthy, retired railbed bike path bordering the rear of the park right on the river. Nice, quiet little place off the beaten path that could use some TLC but a good place to relax. Propane is available but it is very expensive. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
This is very nice campgroound along a narrow portion of the Annapolis River. Sites are grass and reasonably level. I checked "no" on "Family friendly park" because the owner considers this park a seniors camp, although there appear to be no formal age restrictions. About half the sites are taken with seasonal campers, but we found them to be quite friendly. There's a nominal fee for wifi, which worked very well and a fee for cable TV, which was a pleasant surprise for campgrounds in the maritimes, where off-air antennas generally get just one or two channels. The cable here is full-service, including digital channels from the US. Restrooms are rustic but clean. Most transient sites are in an open area, but we were able to get a river front site, in the shade, for our 3 day stay. The owner is quite helpful and accommodating, but be warned, credit or debit cards are not accepted as payment. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Nice, small campground located ideally for touring the surrounding areas. Our site was a back-in on grass. It rained and water pooled around our motorhome. We had difficulty pulling out boards under our jacks, since they had sunk into the mud. Overall a nice campground that was meticulously cared for. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Stayed a week. Pull thrus are 30 AMP only. Back ins are 30/50 AMP. Campground has gravel roads and grass sites. The back in site #8, that we were in was very unlevel side to side. Electric was good, water pressure was good. Very quiet, even on the weekend when the place was booked. Within walking distance to the grocery stores. Lots of friendly people here. They do have Wi-Fi and Cable TV for a charge. They also charge for electric heat. Also has pay showers. Lots of little charges. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
