Roads and sites are very tight and it's hard to negotiate into your site due to strategically placed lamps and plants. No extra room to hang around outside your rig. Park Wi-Fi is slow. Decent 4G Verizon signal, but slow too. Plenty of constant noise from neighboring roads and highway. One mile to downtown Santa Paula where there are some beautiful murals. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Park is tight for large rigs. Site was level with utilities located in the right spot. If you have slides it's hard to sit beside your rig in the middle area. Ants are all over in this park because it was once an orchard. In 48 hours we had them in our coach--bummer. Management does spray for the ants because they want no chemicals. We camped here in a Motorhome.
+ 7 Asphalt pull through; shrubs in between sites, level [front sloped slightly, but no need for leveling blocks]. A small park with very accommodating managers. -3 Downside: sites are narrow, electric outlets are old; shrubs not high enough for good privacy We camped here in a Motorhome.
The price is based upon the 4 week rate. This is a very nice park in Santa Paula. Cable TV and Wi-Fi is included in price. The two managers are the nicest and most accommodating I have met! They maintain the park everyday, so the park is immaculate. No pool, but there is a large hot tub available only to the RV park. There is a mobile home park behind the RV park. Best deal in Ventura County. I will return whenever I visit family here. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
I just completed a pretty long-term stay at Mountain View and unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone and everyone visiting Santa Paula. The managers are two of the nicest, most accommodating people I know and will do anything to help you out. Spaces are paved, level and clean. Long termers in the park are extremely friendly and welcoming to new people and go out of their way to provide local information and assistance to visitors. Utilities are stable, cable TV has lots of channels and the Wi-Fi works. Short or long term stay, this park and the people who run it are first class. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
No bathrooms or laundry. Self contained units only accepted. RV park is an extension of a large mobile home park. Friendly managers and staff. We had to move from our site as bigger unit than ours would not fit assigned site and was given ours while we were out. Phone ahead to confirm site size as only a few big rig sites available. We camped here in a Motorhome.
