This place has two separate areas in a wooded area for seasonal full service site - total of 72 seasonal while we were there. The short-term sites are all full service and located near the center of the resort, close to the washrooms and the large swimming pool. Most sites are large square, level gravel areas, typically with trees and bushes between the sites. There are also about 6 pull through sites with minimal privacy. There is a new well setup play area for small children and a large games room with games for teens and adults. There is a large triple water-slide which was not in use, a mini-golf area and a new looking tennis court. There is only a small sand beach on lake Huron but there is a well protected marina with catwalks and 12-14 births. It certainly seems to be the most modern RV park on Manitoulin Island and for many miles in both directions but it is a long drive from Highway 17. We camped here in a Motorhome.

When completely finished being built, this will be a very nice park, however, it is currently not exactly as described in their brochure and website. We chose this campground based on the activities available for our children, but upon arrival we discovered that the waterslides do not work, nor have they ever worked. They are scheduled to open next year. The stocked trout ponds are not stocked, nor will they be any time soon as the otters in the area will only eat the fish. The fishing charters that are advertised are no longer available from the resort either. There is a 12 x 12 piece of asphalt with a portable basketball net at one end which would represent the basketball court, but it costs $5 per hour to use, even if you have brought your own basketball. Tennis court and mini-put also cost extra for campers to use, which I can understand, however, this is also not advertised. Due to landscaping not completely finished, the sites are all gravel and very dusty. We were scheduled to stay for five nights but left after three. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
