This park is adequate enough. The spaces are very small. We had a boat trailer next to us and could just barely get out door open. Fortunately, no one was on the other side, so our slideout didn't interfere with anyone. This park is more of a fishing resort, with the RV spaces there for the convenience of the fishermen. Nice to have TV and internet after camping in the National Forest for several days. Some of the spots are directly on the waterfront, giving a beautiful view. We camped here in a Motorhome.
If not on the water sites are very very tight, even for our B+ without slides. The water from the water hookup is tea colored (locally called Muskeg) from a pond that gathers run off from the surrounding trees. Only place with full hookups on in the Ketchikan. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Amazing water view if you have one of the front spaces. This is also a resort so there is a bar/restaurant on site and everyone is very friendly. Lots of fishing activity. Spaces are small. Wi-Fi is very strong. We camped here in a Fifth Wheel.
Wonderful views of whales, seals, sea lions, eagles, and mink right from our rig were the highlight. Mostly a large gravel lot, the sites are pretty level but a little small. Water, electricity and sewer hookups worked well, but were placed on opposite sides of site. Wi-Fi worked well. Bathrooms were a bit of a hike, and were not very clean (which they claimed was because we were there so early in the season). We enjoyed getting to know many fellow campers during our week here. This was our second time here (last 4 years ago) and we'd return if we ever come to Alaska again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We spent four nights here while exploring Ketchikan. Actual price was 34.85 including tax for non-waterfront site. Fairly level sites. W/S/E/ Cable TV with just a few channels and Wi-Fi. All worked well but the sewer was sticking up a bit high. Although a bit far from town, it is the only full service campground in Ketchikan. Waterfront (extra cost) & non-waterfront sites are available. We asked for a site close to the showers & restrooms and were accommodated. Friendly staff. There were lots of eagles in the trees surrounding the RV Park. The restaurant at the resort had not opened yet for the season, but there were plenty of dining choices in town and plenty of free parking in town also. While the “all-in-one” shower / toilet facilities were a bit dated, they were clean and there was plenty of hot water. Washers & dryers worked very well. The resort also offers boat rentals and fishing charters. We would stay here again. We camped here in a Travel Trailer.
