We are spending 3 1/2 months here this winter. Mostly park models and permanently attached travel trailers & 5th wheels. Around 25-30 sites actually available for RV's. Size of sites are just adequate. Several "old-timers" that have been coming here upwards of 20 years have told me this used to be a beautiful well-kept park. But since Encore bought it, it has really gone seriously downhill. Two months into our stay and they have not done a general mowing of the weeds (no grass). Virtually no enforcement of rules, such as cargo trailers permanently parked on front of sites, no maintenance of permanently installed trailers. Several full time residents are construction workers on motorcycles; no maintenance or cleaning of their sites or trailers. Park has had 6 managers in 5 years. The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. Given the park condition and nature of many of the full time residents we will not stay here again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
We did not have cable at our site. Good Wi-Fi Signal $ Older Park and does show some age. Pool area closed as it is being refurbished (they stated that when we made reservation). Good location and would stay again. We camped here in a Motorhome.
The first site they gave us (119) had tree branches just 8ft off the ground - we are 13ft. They sent a guy to trim them but he couldnt manage it, so they found us another site which was good - especially as they said they were full. The wifi was good ($) but the traffic noice was a little loud. There are a few restaurants across the street (but we wouldnt recommend Bernedettos) We got a weekly rate here and would probably go back. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Needed to stay on year basis only to find 4 managers in 9 months time each one messing up the total bill which is still being worked out. Three managers ill-tempered and could not run computer adequately enough for reservations. Much complaining and people refusing to ever book there again. I will never book again in any Encore, as I had called several from Punta Gorda to north of state to find there is no standard policies, just whims. Rules change daily back and forth. NEVER AGAIN! We camped here in a Motorhome.
