I cannot believe this place. We reserved it because it is billed as the only RV Park in the city of Denver. We wanted to be close to downtown, so visit the mint, and museums. Although the park itself is reasonably clean, the neighborhood is horrible. I felt like I was staying in an inner city ghetto. Its on a major street, sirens constantly all night, and hookers walking the park! They actually knocked on our door and offered, well, you can figure that out! We didn't have a car, and when we walked a few blocks to a liquor store, we were approached by someone offering to sell us marijuana, and by a beggar. We had breakfast one morning at a nearby restaurant, where we met a local cop. From her, I learned that the owner of the RV Park also owns the run down, seedy motels and trailer houses surrounding it, and is uncooperative with law enforcement. Her comment was, "Why in the world is someone like you, staying at that dump?" Absolutely avoid this place at all costs. We camped here in a Motorhome.
Good news: Close to Hyland Hill's Waterworld. Bad news: More squatters than RV'ers. Make sure you lock everything as it sounded like the police were busy enough in this area. We camped here in a Truck Camper.
A big disappointment given the lovely pictures on their website. The neighborhood is crime central. I witnessed the coke machine being stolen in the middle of the night. I will not return. We camped here in a Motorhome.
